Sophisticated,well priced and very comfortable mid -level hotel.

What a surprise! I expected a quasi -budget property,based on the reasonable price for otherwise expensive Geneva . Instead ,I found an elegant,well finished, sophisticated ,clean ,attractive hotel in a perfect location,20 yards from the Lake .Cafes and restaurants were nearby.Supermarket located across a bridge,a 3-minute walk.The hotel looks brand new,but not sure if it is. Comfortable bed,modern everything. Fast elevators.Very quiet.I heard no traffic noises -and I slept all three nights with the windows wide open .Strong wifi. Breakfast is available at the "sister hotel " ,across the square(20-second walk) .Pleasant front office staff. Starbucks is 10 yards from the hotel's front door ,but there is a locally owned cafe across the street for a more authentic experience.

Generous , comfortable and great value hotel in a brilliant location.

The girl on the desk was so friendly and helpful. She gave us great advice for our travel the following day and gave us complimentary tickets for our train to the airport the following morning. There was water in the lobby which was much needed and appreciated. There is just an extra touch with a hotel that leaves water in your room and a kettle for tea and coffee. It hints at a generosity that permeates the whole experience and this was the case in The new Midi. The bed was also extremely comfortable as was the temperature in the room. Lovely soaps and lotions were complimentary too. A brilliant location.. close to everything.. Great value for money!

Location is fantastic. Room have two full bathrooms, that was unusual that said useful. Clean and nice place.

I booked on booking.com for 6 people, and was given the booking selection of 2 rooms, stating a queen bed and a sofa bed in each room. It turns out they have no sofa beds and only have a small sofa (love seat type) in the rooms. The staff tried multiple times to force me to pay for adding extra beds (only later when I got the room I found that reason is that they actually do not have sofa beds). I refused to pay any extra hidden fees, which made the receptionist kind of angry. In the end, I had to call booking.com to help rectify the issue. Took a while to get them on the line, but Booking.com immediately called the manager (sitting in the sister property across the street) and told her that my booking is for 6 people in two rooms at the agreed price and if they do not have a sofa bed in the rooms as was marked on the reservation, the cost is on them not me. The more detailed account is more unpleasant until the matter was resolved. Basically, some of the staff can be rude and emotional and does not stay focused on the business transaction, while others let things slide and ignore issues. Luckly I was able to communicate with the manager and with the help of bookings.com the matter was resolved. Total 2.5 hours were wasted on this, which is a lot. Apart from that the hotel was ok.

My Go-To Hotel in Geneva!

I’m a regular guest at The New Midi and its sister hotel The Ambassador, and both are exceptional. The New Midi has a perfect location—just a few minutes’ walk from the city center, the lake, and Geneva’s main shopping street. The hotel is spotless, beautifully maintained, and offers great comfort. Service is always efficient and friendly, and the staff do their best to arrange early check-in or late check-out whenever possible. Special thanks to Mr. Miftari for his outstanding care and professionalism, as always, in both hotels. Truly a warm, welcoming place that feels like home every time I visit

Great location near Lake Geneva with decent sized rooms and air con which was a bonus

Great location very close to the lake and it was lovely to walk along the promenade and take in the sights. The room was a decent size and had air con that worked which was appreciated as it was hot the day we arrived.

Saturday early hours it is noisy with people leaving clubs and bars but that's the same for most cities I guess. Sunday night was quieter as the clubs were closed.

Great place for business stay

The room was large and had good natural light come through even though I was only on the 2nd floor (I think requesting a high floor via booking doesn't do much in the end). The room had modern amenities and very good shower pressure. Location was super convenient (close to grocery stores and restaurants) and well connected to get anywhere in the city. Love the 12pm checkout time!

It was a great stay.

A wonderful hotel in a very excellent location, close to Lake Geneva, shopping, and all the tourist attractions. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and very clean. The staff is very friendly and always smiling.

Just a small note, there was no quilt for the bed, only a bed sheet, which made us feel cold when sleeping.

Excellent location and fantastic staff. Room cleaned daily with new towels etc. Efficient air conditioning (heat-wave during stay!) and attractive decor.

The hotel exceeded our expectations, we were very satisfied with our stay. It was an incredibly comfortable experience. The location was fantastic; as soon as you step out of the hotel, you're right by the Rhône River. The room was very cozy, and the electric shutters operated by a bedside button added a great touch of comfort. The staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

There was really nothing negative about our stay. The only small detail is that the free public transport pass provided by Geneva wasn’t mentioned at check-in, we didn’t end up needing it much, but it would have been nice to have it from the start, just in case. Once we asked, it was quickly prepared for us, so I wouldn’t even count this as a downside. Don't forget to ask for your free public transport card at the reception, it's available for use throughout your stay!

Amazing, cozy and comfortable, but they should check the wifi.

The hotel staff was amazing, very attentive to the needs of the users. They had umbrellas at disposition for when it rained. The location was amazing, with shops, tourist sites and transportation very near. The hotel provided the free transportation card/qr which was amazing. The hotel room was well-equipped, very comfortable. The bathroom lighting was great.

The only regular aspect was the wifi: in the room I was staying the connection was very weak and it connected and disconnected all the time, I couldn't use the wifi at all.

Exceptional Location and Cozy Comfort

The hotel is exceptionally located—right on the lake, making it incredibly easy to get around and enjoy the surroundings. It has more of a boutique feel, very cozy and welcoming. The rooms are a comfortable size and come fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. A wonderful stay overall!

Great Location, near to everywhere. Room is clean and comfy. The internal design is great and good taste. Breakfast services was great and friendly

Breakfast need to improved. Counter services is a bit disappointing with miss information - we have to request for the free public transport voucher (while other just forward to us), we requested an extra hours check out, agreed on 6pm but we are ask to go out at 5pm.

Lighting to be improved

The hotel is centrally located, two steps away from the lake, but hidden away from the crowds of tourists. It's quiet, very convenient for a recharging sleep. Staff are very gentle.

The working area has no desk lamp, which makes it impossible to work in the evening. The room has no tea kettle (only a coffee machine in the room).
