Olga and James are both delightful hosts who went out of their way to make our 3 night stay (and honeymoon) special. Georgian House is a gorgeous period property which is well set up for guests. We had a lovely double room upstairs, overlooking the garden, with ensuite. Very clean and comfortable and the stairs are very manageable. The breakfasts Olga puts together are delicious. Extra fresh crossaints and summer fruit, hard-boiled eggs, toast, cereals, yogurt, juice, tea, coffee etc. Nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic location too. Short 5min walk to plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops, Sainsburys in Bruntsfield, and an easy walk to parks, shops, Edinburgh Castle, the new and old towns, Dean Village and Stockbridge. We walked everywhere and really enjoyed it, even during the heatwave! Plenty of parking for cars too. Jim loves a chat and has plenty of info on Edinburgh and Scotland, should you need. Olga is so lovely and kind - we could have chatted for hours, however they're also very happy to leave you in peace. Highly recommend Georgian House - we would definitely stay again.

James and Olga were very friendly and welcoming into their home. The house is in a quiet street, which has excellent access to all parts of Edinburgh and surrounding countryside. The substantial continental breakfast was lovely and presented to an exceptional standard. Certainly a first choice for our next visit to Edinburgh

Hosts are lovely and friendly. Olga’s breakfast is amazing!! Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The local Italian restaurant is fantastic!

It was really cold in Edinburgh and the room was subsequently too chilly. We could’ve done with an extra blanket, please, and a hotter radiator.
