Lovely staff to welcome you during check in. Facilities easy to use and very quiet rooms
Pillows were a bit uncomfortable but not the worst.

The staff were lovely and helpful.
We were able to get our room a little earlier than check-in at no extra charge.
The concierge service was very much appreciated.
The hotel is modern and clean.
Really good place to hang out to the center (more on Princes St. than Old Town).
The rooms are very small overall.
The television, despite the hotel being new, is a bit dated, channel quality a bit poor. There's no real smart TV, and mirrorcast doesn't work very well.

The best part about the hotel is it’s staff - they go above and beyond to help you and no question is left unanswered.
It is a shame there is no breakfast facility in the hotel (though there are options for keeping and heating food in the room!)

There was nothing I didn’t like. I loved the decor of the rooms, they were spacious, modern and relaxing. The bathrooms were clean and the shower was great. The reception also had a lovely energy and the couches were so comfortable. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and lovely. Lauren specifically was memorable during our stay from the moment we entered to the moment we left. They were also very accommodating to any of our requests and we really appreciated them keeping our luggage for the day while we explored on our last day.
Nothing genuinely the only thing I wish was that they had food available on the property but we could order food to the hotel so we can’t complain.

Comfort and size of the room. Facilities good and staff really friendly.
Teas, coffees and milks not topped up for 2 nights stay
There were a fair few interruptions in the room, we aren’t sure why they kept coming in as the room had been cleaned and tidied

Contemporary hotel design. Friendly staff
The room as a relatively small. It would have been tight for two people

Very good location. Quiet, the corridor doors are very well designed and silent. Very clean. The kitchenette is great. Good shower, powerful and hot. Excellent, helpful staff. Free early evening drinks were lovely. Lots of information given about things to do, restaurants etc. Good WiFi. Good hairdryer. Liked the little coat hanging and shoe area as you came in the door.
The room had everything needed but was small, much smaller than the pictures made it look. There was very little space to put anything, even the cushions off the bed. We couldn’t get the air con right, it was either too hot or too cold. It had one of those beds that could be 2 single or a kingside, the zip down the middle was uncomfortable if you happened to lie on it.

Very central very nice decor, friendly staff.
Overpriced for one night especially room only,
One of our rooms was not ready and that guest had to wait in our room which was fine but it took an hr - and we only got a bar of chocolate !!

Great location, new hotel, staff friendly.
Although the rooms are comfortable, they are tiny. We struggled with space with two bags.

Breakfast wasn't available
We experienced Emergency Fire Drill. Totally Chaotic for a new Hotel !! No Numbers to indicate Floor levels within stair area.
No real indication of Fire Assembly Point
No head count was organised
This Procedure needs URGENT attention

The staff was excellent and very happy to assist.
A minor quibble - but the shower is not intuitive to use.

The room was small but the amenities were really great--nice shower, coffee, sink, microwave, overall room design etc. The free drinks from 5-6 was a nice touch too. There was no breakfast here but places nearby for breakfast.
From the website, I thought many of the rooms had a castle view. It wasn't till I got there did I realize you had to pay a lot more for a view. Edinburgh was already pretty pricey and this was a moderate price for nice amenities so I guess you get what you pay for! Our room had a tiny window looking out on the alley/parking lot which was less than scenic!

The lobby looked nice and gave a misleading impression the hotel would be nice.
We were given a room in the basement with a window that looked directly onto a brick wall and a bunch of rubbish. The bed was meant to be a twin, but was one bed. Nobody answered the phone to sort this out for us. There was no mini bar or even a glass of water for the room. The bath seemed to have blood or dirt splatters along the bottom and it didn't even feel clean enough to shower in it. The person on the front desk when I asked if there was a window in the basement rooms, snapped that the hotel was full and there was no option for changing anything.

Very comfy, well-appointed room, had everything we needed. It was great that the hotel was just around the corner from bus stops and within reasonable walking distance of various landmarks - I was mixing work and pleasure while in the area, so it really helped to be so close to public transport. I did appreciate how quiet the room was that we were in (I'm really sensitive to noises, typically), and the staff were incredibly friendly and solicitous.
Nothing was missing!

Hotel is very new, rooms have everything you may need for a short term stay, but the highlight was the staff. Location is 5 minute walk from the Deans Village and 15 minutes from the castle

The staff were amazing, lovely room. Even though the room wasn't huge, but every space in the room was used efficiently. We had our own mini kitchen with a microwave and a dressing table.
