The place was amazing, looked fantastic and the room was top notch. Can't rave enough about the bed, well worth it just for that.

Convenient location
Connected via bus to the airport, and 30 mins from the city centre.
The staff is extremely professional and polite, Alex solved an issue very quickly for us

Overall we had a really nice stay at The Roseate. The included breakfast was of an outstanding quality and the staff were mostly excellent too.
The room was lovely and peaceful and we slept soundly on both of the nights that we stayed.
A few points to improve on:
1) At its price point all rooms should have a mini fridge not just some rooms.
2) We had to ask for dental kits, coffee and a 2nd dressing gown, this should have already been in the room.
3) The bar should stay open much later than 10:30pm, especially on a Friday night, kinda anticlimatic.
4) At breakfast the waiter forgot the toast on the first morning and forgot the juice on the 2nd morning, standards should be higher than this.
5) Hotel is only a 10 min walk from the Haymarket area but it is a 30 minute walk from the city centre.

Very interesting place to stay. Loved the historic design and personality of the place. For the price I would have expected immaculate cleanliness, bt I do recognize the challenge of maintaining rooms of this age. We didn't find the location was great for.walki.g to sightseeing.
