We stayed for 3 nights and it was lovely. Good place to start if you want to go to Dean Village first. But most of the tourist spot can be reached by foot. Unfortunately, due to the recent fire in Princes St., we did not see the tram and the traffic had to be diverted. They offer complimentary drinks in the bar from 5-6 pm though we didn’t manage to avail as we were always out til late. But overall we did enjoyed our stay.

Booked a Superior Room with a city view months ago via Agoda, but was initially given a lower-ground room window facing a wall. Because the hotel was fully booked, the manager couldn't give us our exact room until the next day, so we downgraded to a double room with a better view instead. The manager was helpful, but the initial oversight was disappointing. Check your room carefully, as the hotel won't notice the mistake unless you speak up.

Rooms are very small. Shower was good but space a bit tight in the bathroom too. Only made use of evening complementary drinks once as busy seeing the city and conveniently close to. Just nip back. Coffee and tea good selection in the room. Bed a little firm but fine.
