The hotel location was really good, located down a quiet side street near Haymarket station. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, I couldn't have asked for more. Our room was small but perfect for a long weekend.
The bathroom was much colder than the room, which did make getting ready for bed a bit uncomfortable. I suspect this is just something that happens in older buildings.

I liked the decor and the room size and super friendly staff
I didn't like that the first night I was across the road. But I was moved the following night.

The bar area, and the snack and lunch menu was fantastic. The staff were really friendly.
The room was tiny for the price that we paid. There was no space for luggage, the shower had low pressure, the air conditioning unit was noisy. Breakfast was very expensive (we chose to eat out)
