We liked the location, the room was comfortable and clean, and we slept well
Not much.
Breakfast experience was disappointing. Friendly server, but she didn’t actually bring us what we ordered !

The staff went above and beyond, the entire hotel was beautiful, the room was HUGE and so comfortable, we were able to leave our luggage for the day until we left to travel back home and we were just so impressed all around from the moment we arrived until we left.

We stay here every time we visit Edinburgh. It's a good hotel in a perfect location with friendly staff. The rooms are basic, small, but quiet. We've never eaten at the hotel but we've used the bar which is great.
The hardest bed I've ever found in a hotel, and they're not very big. Rooms are small, even 'premium' rooms which are on a higher floor (good) but still just about enough space to move around the bed! Still - if you're in the city as a tourist, all you really need is somewhere to sleep!
