Had a lovely stay. Staff really friendly and helpful. We were even given a free colouring book for our son. Free nuts with our complimentary drinks too. Lovely.

The resident hotel was in a great location, set on a quiet street a few minutes walk from the hussle of the city, reception staff were were friendly and helpful, provide discounts for local restaurants, the hotel was clean and modern in decor. We were on the seventh floor, the views from our room stunning, over the new town towards the river firth forth onwards to fife, room was well set out, comfie bed, the facilities were great, well equiped bathroom, big towels, shower products provided, anti steam mirror. Room had a vantiy area with good hairdryer, iron provided, all theses touches makes for travelling light for a city weekend, the mini kitchen was ideal, small fridge, selection of glasses, coffee maker, kettle, great when you want to chill after a busy day. Only gripe could do with a tea towel. Self controlled heating which is great for scottish weather,

Very friendly and courteous staff. The room was lovely, warm, comfortable, had everything we could need. So handy to have a little kitchenette in the room. Great shower. Free bottle of red wine in the room for us as our hotels.com perk. Has a lovely sitting area in the lobby as well. So many cafes and restaurants in the area and so close to all the attractions and transport options.

Immaculate accomodation,towels etc refreshed ( only two night stay) arrived at hotel just before 12pm expecting only to drop off luggage,reception went that extra mile checking if room available, and requesting i could wait in lounge area ( these little touches nake all the difference) Quiet,tranquil surroundings

The rooms were so well equipped, towels the largest and nicest I have had in a hotel for a very long time. The kitchenette was a thoughtful addition and lovely to have a fridge as well as a microwave. The area was quiet, good blackout curtains

The staff were brilliant from start to finish. Hotel in a great location/area - help with parking costs which is great in a city! Amazing view from our suite. Saw Edinburgh castle and even bit of the Xmas market. The issues were for the money we paid for the suite, the room is getting tired. The usual marks on the walls, especially where hangers are as well as pretty much every wall in the room, just scuff marks. You couldn’t have a bath in the suite we stayed in as the plug didn’t work in the tub but then in the sink you had to spend 5 minutes pressing it for it to pop up to drain the water. Cleaners go round between 1-3pm for those staying in the hotel which isn’t ideal for those who are early risers and like to come back to freshen up/make use of their balcony. Lovely hotel and complimentary drinks every night before dinner. But wouldn’t stay in the suite again, it’s just not worth it. If you’re staying in a standard room then 100% recommend but don’t recommend anything more than that unless the rooms had a bit of TLC! But all in all a solid hotel!

Lovely staff, welcome, room good slightly on the small side, air conditioning worked well as room was too hot on arrival. Excellent double glazing no traffic noise when windows shut. Happy hour very nice too. Would stay again.
