Home away from home :)

Very spacious, equipped with everything I needed, centrally located, clean throughout the flat, warm cosy space to come back to after a whole day out in the cold. The bed was big and very comfy. Everything was working in good order. Water in the shower was properly hot for a good shower.

Edinburgh Trip

Excellent location. 2 min walk to the nearest tram stop. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Only 10/15 mins from the city center on the tram and for Rugby fans, only 1 stop or a 15 minute walk to Murrayfield. The living room was clean and tidy, albeit a bit small for wheelchair access, but it was manageable. The bedroom was spacious enough.

Bathroom is a little small and could have done with a handrail to hang towels. TV remote wouldn't turn off the TV, but worked every other way. The curtains in the bedroom would need to be a bit darker, as the lights from the Police Station behind are very bright.. No disabled access to the building due to steps. OK for us as my wife can walk short distances.

Quirky older property with period features. Open plan living and sleeping area. Kids thought that was amazing. Very warm. Everything we needed for one night sleep.

Found it fine but to be aware flights of stairs can be hard work for anyone that struggles with stairs.

Cozy, calm & warm!

Location is amazing, easy to walk everywhere. Nice private patio outside. Very warm and cozy inside. Very useful appliances. Very fluffy matress. Tiny but nicely heated bathroom, good shower!

The ventilation vents were really dirty 😬 There was someone else's sock under the cupboard 😂 and lot's of dust... And the duvet cover was too small for the duvet itself, we kept stealing the duvet from each other 😂😂 Appart from these, it was great! We loved the overall experience and will recommend to any friends that want to visit Edimburgh as well. Thank you so much for making our trip super cozy and easy! Our memory of Edimburgh will be for ever in our hearts!

Noisy neighbours and not central

It was clean enough

It was around a 20 min walk to the actual centre with all the shops bars and restaurants. The people staying directly opposite us would leave there door open and blast music all night and it would sound like they were washing dishes for hours clanking plates and cutlery. I had to actually go round and ask them to be quiet at around 11.30pm one night as we were just trying to get a few hours sleep before an early flight. Overall a poor experience, we didn’t see one member of staff the whole time we were there.

Good location with plenty around, and good transport links. Bed was comfy.

Bedding for the sofa bed in particular could do with updating. Was also incredibly hot and couldn't find the thermometer to turn down.

Good value for money

The property was clean, the curtains were old and hanging down in 1 bedroom and the living room which I had to climb up to sort out twice whilst we were there probably could be updated. But this didn't spoil our stay. I had everything we needed and would book again

Great location, nice apartment, everything you need for a short stay.

Sofa beds extremely uncomfortable, mattresses very thin, could feel the springs. Duvets old and stained, should have been replaced long ago. Was refused early check-in so had to wait around till 3pm. Traffic noise constant through the night due to poor double glazing.

Good location, it was very near to my conference area EICC, and in the centre enough that transportation and places of interest.

The room was clean and have enough facilities, my only comment is the mattress was so uncomfortable that I did not have a comfortable sleep.

A good place to stay for easy access to all that Edinburgh offers

Location was great - just one road off of Main road leading into main centre of high street which gave us access to the buses and tram. The apartment was clean and spacious. A kitchen area was available to make drinks and do microwave meals. A fridge was also available. As far as I am aware the apartments were all upstairs and you were required to carry your luggage up the stairs - no lift. The room we stayed in had no disturbance from outside traffic.

The apartment opposite us - there were different residents in the room each night and both of them had difficulty getting into their room with the press button code as one of the digits was not working property and they had to phone the helpline to get assistance. On the first night the person was trying to get into his room at 11:15pm and it took him 20 minutes getting into his room while speaking to the helpline loudly explaining his frustration.

Not a great experience.

Location was perfect for my husbands belated Birthday presents to a concert at Usher Hall.

Flat was supposed to be an upgrade to a superior flat. The flat was definitely not superior. I was very anxious on arrival after reading some of the reviews. It was clean enough but quite small & everything was poor quality, bedding furniture etc, we even discovered a mouse trap at the back of a dresser. The windows were long & didn't open so was very stuffy & the view from them was awful, net curtains would have been a good idea to block out the view of a scruffy yard & back of a police station. It was also extremely noisy, there didn't appear to be any deafening between the flats or the stairwell. I think they have a cheek taking a £100 deposit for breakages considering the state of the flat.

Beautiful city. Would comeback again

Spacious, location not too bad, quiet, restaurants and market nearby, public transportation 4 minutes walk friendly staff

Floors dirty especially under the sofa, master bathroom shower drain slow, guest shower adjustment too sensitive and hand held shower pressure too strong, extra blanket terribly shamefully soiled need to be replaced. Sensor lighting outside Needs to be brighter to light up steps to basement room. Dish sponge badly used.

Very spacious and well resourced with a bathroom and an en-suite in the 2 bed suite. Handy location as well.

The property was not ideal where two friends as in my case required separate sleeping arrangements. The small kitchen / dining area was very noisy when trying to sleep due to the boiler system beside the sink and I had two disturbed nights due to this.

Not what I expected

The location for everywhere was really good ..

Floors hadn't had a really good clean in a long long time, Our socks/feet were black,. Beds were uncomfortable, stains on pillows, quilts, Quilts had seen better days, Black mould in showers, Dust on the towel rails, behind the towel rails, Dust under and behind the beds, a box of mints under one of the beds from either the last customer or the previous one.. The en-suite shower tray filled up with water and took a while to empty. Curtains were hanging off the curtain pole. The cleaning sponge in the kitchen had seen better days. The tin opener was dirty, cutlery wasn't the cleanest. The top of the fire extinguisher was dirty. The main bathroom shower head seemed to let water go over the bath onto the floor, had to hold the shower head to wash yourself. Bathrooms were so hot, as the towel rail was on full, tried turning down but it didn't work, No extra toilet roll. Only had what was left on a roll by the last people there, Had to kneel on the bed to look in the mirror when using the hairdryer etc... or had to use one in the living room, but could only use the edge of the mirror due to the length of my hairdryer's lead. For the price we paid, I did expect a lot better.

The lady on the desk was lovely

Was advertised and bought as a suite that slept up to 4. Which it probably would have if there wasn’t a wardrobe blocking the adjoining room. The room had access to the hall so was obviously sold to increase revenue on a busy weekend. Can you imagine the horror for our poor friends that were joining us. They had to go home and we would have too if I hadn’t just had an operation. The smell of damp was disgusting. No pictures matched the ones shown online. No on street parking as stated on the website (even though they didn’t actually finish the sentence that is what it said, I can see it has been rectified now) when I asked about this I was made to feel stupid for thinking that in the middle of Edinburgh that would be possible. There was nothing luxury about it unfortunately. £630 we paid for 2 nights for half a suite and we were only offered 50% of 1 night back, so a disappointing £150 and I was that for parking. Absolutely ruined what was supposed to be a nice relaxing time. I told them I felt scammed and the manager said they didn’t appreciate that. I can’t think how else to describe it. Absolutely gutted and will never return.

You failed to secure the booking despite sending a confirmatory message and then your help desk hung up on me before securing replacement accommodation despite me specifically asking him not to. Where’s the apology and offer of compensation?

A total rip off at £203 per night in August.

Location for easy access to City

Dirty Basement room with no ventilation small window shut tight. Wall insulation poor constant noise from adjacent room. Pillows and bedding dirty and unhygienic. Lobby sensor light shines into room so no sleep when activated. Noisy old fridge keeps you awake at night. This room is a disgrace and should be used for storage only. Antisocial behaviour from drunken louts using adjacent room just added to our terrible experience. Formal Complaint being made to proprietors with full refund demand
