Good place but needs work.

The property is in a fantastic location and was great to be able to head out first thing and explore, its a large apartment to enable everyone there own space to get ready.

We didnt know that the apartment was across 2 floors, meaning 1 bedroom was downstairs, which wasn't ideal. We found the temperature in the home was very hit and miss, downstairs was cold and upstairs was too warm. When we arrived at 3pm there was no heat on at all so we put it on, then later returned and it was still cold. The locking knob on the front door to the apartment fell off a number of times, and struggled to re-attach it, which worried us that we would be locked in without being able to get out - this needs to be addressed. The stairs are extremely noisy, luckily this didn't cause too much of an issue as we all went to bed and got up at the same time. (Exhausted from exploring) The beds, bedding etc - had no protectors on (i would recommend these be added) The master bed was very hard, which prevented me from getting a restful night sleep. The 2nd bedroom upstairs, my daughter said the springs were very prominent. The windows around the property were all drafty, the door rings on a few doors were loose, the whole place needed a bit of a refurb to be honest.

Dirty and incomplete - we did not stay the second night.

It was conveniently located just off Princes Street.

It was dirty - dirty seat covers, hairs in the bed and shower, dirty, sticky floors, and insufficient bedding (no duvet cover or pillowcase for the sofa bed for me son). Despite the ‘policy’ requiring people to be quiet between 9pm and 9am, people in the adjacent apartment were still having a party at 2am.

Location and the way they set up is very comfortable.

Management. They asked ID to get in the accommodation. As we don’t carry ID in the UK I sat in the car an hour to sort out the issue . There is not equipment to cook anything in the accommodation.

Amazing

Very nice, cozy and nearly perfect. all the things that a traveler could ask for in a apt hotel was already provided/anticipated. Complete facilities provided such great comfort. Value for money 10/10 👍

The only thing we could net pick was the super squeeky wooden stairs, was so annoying even small movement makes huge noise waking people up.

The check in, check out was extremely smooth and nice. Julia was so kind she also agreed for our late checkout and luggage storage. The stay was comfortable and the location is also very nice and walkable distance to tram and bus station

Excellent location, plenty of space in the bedrooms. 2 bathrooms are a bonus! The beds in the 3 bed rooms were pretty comfortable. Easy to find and access property through a door code into the building & key in a lock box for the apartment. Decent & fast communication from the property owner(s)

The apartment could of been a little cleaner.. a lot of dust around the furniture but I put that down to a quicker clean than usual (I’m hoping) because of requested earlier check in, on our second night there was a mouse in the living room (this was a group of 10 girls) so you can imagine that wasn’t ideal. But these things happen. The sofa beds in the living space weren’t as comfortable as the beds but fine for a short stay.

Location, cleanliness. Provision of tea/instant coffee, toiletries. The apartment were great for the weekend and I would certainly consider rebooking (at a lower cost!)

Incredibly expensive for 2 nights (>£2,400 for 2 apartments accommodation 10 people). Admittedly it was Fringe and Oasis were in town. Expected the sofa beds to have been made up, but they weren't. No cafetiere in one of the apartments.

Quiet, comfortable stay conviently located to many popular sites and restaurants

We liked how quiet it was, it’s not on a busy street. But easy to walk to the center. Plenty of privacy, large bathroom. Kitchen has everything you need for a short stay and appreciated the washing machine. Furnishings were modern and comfortable.

More linens could have been provided, no extra towels and no kitchen towels. Price was a little high compared to other places we’ve stayed. However there was a large concert the same weekend so chalk up the steep price to the influx of visitors.

The stairs was right straight when you open the front door., not convenient with an 86 yearls old going up and or down. There is no free car park, I paid more than a £100 for the car park alone, maximum stays 4 hours £8/hr, I have to go around and look for car park.

Good location but bad condition

The location is great. Just 10-15 min walk to the city center and all the touristy attractions. Supermarkets and bus stops are very close by.

Just as some others mentioned: 1. The wall is very thin and you can hear everything from both in the streets and the other apartments all night long. We stayed for 3 nights and couldn’t sleep well the entire trip. 2. The staircases both in the hallway and in the apartment are very narrow, not suitable for senior people. 3. The room is booked for 4 but only has a small table with 2 chairs-unable to sit and eat together. Plus we have to made the sofa bed ourselves. 4. The WiFi signal is very weak and unstable, especially on the top floor/attic. 5. Our bedroom is on the attic which has very bad insulation. During hot summer days it’s extremely hot. Perhaps not an issue in other time of the year. Understand these are not the host’s fault per se, but with the price and room condition, I won’t stay here again.

Cozy Apartment

The apartment was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. We loved the room darkening blinds because it's summer and the well stocked kitchen.

There was no parking available near the location and we had to drive around for quite a while to find alternatives.

Excellent location 20 min walk to Royal mile. Tram station is short walk. Many grocery stores and restaurants. Julia was very responsive to any request. We had a great time in Edinburgh. Thank you Julia.

My card was stolen & used to book this apartment by the thief. I called the number & informed the staff straight away (I only knew of the booking as I had a notification on my booking.com app). The staff called me back & said they had cancelled the booking. They didn’t & have ignored all my messages since. They are allowing people to stay fraudulently using others card details. Thanks a lot for your non existent help!

Saved us from a bad trip!

After checking into another "apartment" which turned out not to be an apartment at all but a very small locked bedroom in a shared flat we felt very deflated. We travelled an hour and a half to surprise my best friend for her hen party. We left the other place and found this place very last minute and upon arrival were absolutely over the moon. It was exactly as described, very clean, very bright. We needed a little help finding the place and the staff member on the phone was so helpful. The location was so close to the city centre. We genuinely couldnt have asked for better.

Literally nothing, would absolutely stay here again.

Very clear self check-in instructions. Good location, only a 20 minute walk from central Edinburgh. Clean apartment with a simple kitchenette. Comfortable beds & pullout couch. Shower with great temperature and pressure. Windows with a modest view of the surrounding neighborhood, which is quiet.

We arrived to this apartment with a little gift left there for us. The host responded quickly to our questions. Location was great. The apartment has enough space for us. It was clean and warm.

Great location....

The location was great 5 min walk from the train. lots of bars and restaurants in the area. close to all tourist attractions.The 3 bed apartment was lovely plenty of space for 6. easy to access great instructions and communication. Would highly recommend.

my only critique would be the bathroom on the ground floor had no mirror. The bedroom on the ground floor also had no mirror or nowhere to hang our clothes. we had to use the other guests bedroom to get ready which was a bit inconvenient for them.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The location is great, everything you need is available in the kitchen, it was clean, and the bed and sofa bed were comfortable. Kitchen with living room on the ground floor and bedroom and bathroom on the second floor, very narrow stairs.

Soundproofing — we could hear the neighbor talking on the phone and even snoring at night.

Easy, convenient with helpful staff when needed.

Great place, helpful staff when there was an issue with the shower (tap was so stiff it seemed it was stuck) and were quick to respond.

Bed and sofa quite hard - not the most comfortable but overall that's maybe a personal preference thing. Recommend the place highly.
