hub Edinburgh City Centre - Haymarket

The staff was amazing, it was close to everything and the room was clean

Good location, about a 20-minute walk from the main tourist attractions. Comfortable bed. The shower was fine. Some staff members were friendly and provided good service.

The bed was poorly made upon arrival, and I initially thought it had not been made after the previous guests checked out. There was only one set of towels for two people, so we had to ask reception for another and this took time. Breakfast was very disappointing, with very limited options: bread, sweet jams, fruit and yogurt. Reception informed us that we could request a refund for breakfast on the remaining days if we were dissatisfied. However, when we tried to cancel it, we were told to contact Booking.com directly, which was inconvenient. Considering the high price per night, I expected a much better experience, even for a more basic hotel.
