If you're looking to have some space away from the hubbub this is it.
The grounds were nice and the room was modern and tasteful in decor.
Though up the hill from Malcesine it's a short hike uphill to the gondola that can take you down to the lake and back without having to drive the narrow windy roads to enjoy a day in town. Convenient.
Dinner at the restaurant was very nice. Pleasant diversity of choices after the sea of pasta we'd endured for the prior three weeks lol. Food was very well prepared and served in an appealing setting.
Being quite removed from town it would be nice to have a refrigerator in the room to truly be able to enjoy the isolation and the view with cold beverages and food. Similarly there were no glasses or cups in the room. We ended up taking the wine glasses from our dinner back to the room, along with the bottle, to finish on the patio. As a stay these pieces of infrastructure should be provided by default.

"Fabulous place to stay if you are looking for a peaceful retreat away from everything, it’s high up the mountain, steep enough to get there, but worth every effort,
our room and facilities were first ..."
