We loved the attention from staff and friendliness . The room was well serviced daily and had all amenities. We were directly opposite the Japanese ship wreck. The menu was varied and the chef did wonders with fish . Breakfast choices were good.
The location was a little remote from other facilities and attractions and we had to use the hotel taxi service as no Grab was permitted. A hand rail over the spa bath would be helpful as tiles were slippery.

From the moment we stepped into the Baliku we were met with smiles and a welcome drink. All of the staff were absolutely fantastic. They were so kind and approachable and excellent at their jobs. We were sad to say goodbye. The view from the rooms and the room itself was gorgeous, very clean and spacious . Stunning pool area with lovely views. The food was the best food we had on our whole trip to Bali, absolutely top class food. We regretted not staying here longer and are very excited to come stay again.

The staff are amazing. The views from the rooms are incredible. Food was great and a lovely quiet boutique style accommodation.
The stairs are a necessity for the views 😀

Its name you would assume it has a dive shop .It doesn't.

Great location, a little out of the busy part of Amed. Great view, sun beds, candles all the stuff for a romantic stay.

Very close to excellent snorkeling beach. Lovely 4 poster bed. Beautiful sea view
A bit noisy when we first arrived, there was a happy celebration in the village, for a new baby, we later learned

As always, the amazing staff, so welcoming, helpful and friendly. They arranged a beautiful sunset boat cruise for us and even an Esky for our Bintangs.
Our room was one of the lower rooms but still had amazing views. The sunrises are exquisite.
The staff keep it super clean with daily housekeeping if required.
I like hard beds but the beds are just a little too hard for me.

Superb views, lovely room, great restaurant
Everything was superb. Our only problem was something that the hotel cannot control. That is the almost constant racket from passing motorbikes whose owners eschew the use of silencers/mufflers. Such a pity that they spoil the lovely location.

Everything I was looking for ,it’s very quiet, hard to get around without a scooter ect,but for me I was there for the amazing views snorkeling is a must in the clear waters and easily swim out to do so great relaxing stay
Stairs only if you have top rooms but view was worth the climb for me personally

The room was absolutely incredible. It had views to die for, seen from every angle. There’s a huge sun bed and dining table on the patio, then the massive 4 poster bed, dressing room/kitchenette and the beautiful bathroom. Everything was clean and well cared for. The staff are amazing, special thanks to Basir and Bakir for making the stay so welcoming! They helped with everything I needed (scooter and snorkel gear) with a huge smile and a chat. Room service is available.
Not the fault of the hotel, but it was really noisy during my stay. Next door is a farm and the first night the animals were going crazy all night. On the second day the neighbours played very, very loud music for hours, blasting it through a megaphone. I had to use noise cancelling headphones to maintain the serenity. Overall, still worth it, 10/10!

Great unique property gives privacy to each bungalow, loved that they had refrigerators and kettles with coffee/tea supplies and huge bathtub with candles for relaxing. Views from even the lowest bungalow, number 1 was great! The outside patios enormous with fabulous lounging areas to relax plus a dining area. We had our meals room delivery and used what’s app to order, very convenient. Pool water was just right. Food from the kitchen delicious. Great that we could use a safe too.
The stairs!! I can’t really do Bali steps anymore, even with Donna kindly putting us in Bungalow 1 the lowest, found it quite the challenge. But if you’re not too old you’d love it.

The room felt very luxurious. Enormous four poster bed with romantic mosquito net. Walk in wardrobe and huge bathroom. All tiled in stone. The terrace was also huge with a raised platform for two day beds and a dining table with chairs. Also a handy drying rack. The views were just incredible. We stayed in room 3 which had a wonderful view as it was in an elevated position. Catching the sea breeze, looking past the frangipani trees to the ocean beyond, watching boats come and go. We spent a full week here and it was so relaxing. The staff were very friendly/helpful and arranged a massage lady to come to our room and snorkelling boat trip and transport. The food from the restaurant was great and the pool clean and refreshing. The whole establishment had a Mediterranean vibe and provided excellent value for money. There is a handful of great warungs and restaurants within 5-10 mins walk to the north and great snorkelling at the Japanese shipwreck right out front. Cannot recommend this place more highly and we can’t wait to return for a longer stay.

Staying at this resort was a truly pleasant experience. The rooms were well-appointed and offered impressive views of both the mountains and the ocean, providing a beautiful backdrop to our stay. I loved the design of the rooms and decorations that were simple yet chic. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The combination of comfortable accommodations, scenic surroundings, and good service made for a memorable visit.
While our stay had its pleasant aspects, particularly the kind staff, there were a few noticeable drawbacks in the room and dining experience. We observed mold in both the bathroom and kitchen areas, which was a concern for cleanliness. Additionally, the breakfast did not meet our expectations, especially given the hotel's self-promotion of its culinary offerings and chef. We ended up eating out for most meals instead of utilizing the hotel's service. Despite these small issues, the overall stay was still pleasant, largely thanks to the genuinely kind staff and stunning views.

A beautiful resort, lovely staff, great snorkeling off the beach. My room was very clean and had the most incredible sea and mountain views. Really comfortable bed. Yummy breakfasts. Situated in the south part of Amed where life is still mostly unaffected by tourists. I enjoyed going for long walks. Plenty of warungs nearby, within walking distance

the view, others not good
everything, unhonest stuffs (weird), the bed sheet is not clean.. one day we enter into the room and see the insect in the bed. oh and the breakfast!! don’t add anything because it’s not worthy. have breakfast outside is better. the restaurant is not good. the location is far. and make sure about all the price before!!! 100,000 the day they inform you… can turn to be 150,000 the day you check out. We read a lot of comments and expected something so nice.. really really disappointed for this service.

- The room had amazing views
- Staff was incredibly kind and attentive
- Huge bed
- Very clean
- Food at the restaurant was very tasty
- Good value for the price
- Walls need paint, some amenities like the freezer were rusty
- After asking where could I go for 1h massage I was offered an in room service, then a lady from the village showed up with very dirty clothes and she rubbed my skin with oil, I can't say it was a massage, she lacked skill and it was very unpleasant so after 20 minutes I asked her to stop and just paid her the full amount.
- The offered snorkeling tour consists on a ride on the boat with a captain who didn't speak English and told us nothing about the spots or what were we gonna see, it is just a taxi service. Also the fins and mask provided were very low quality.

we had a very nice stay with our 1 year old baby. the staff arranged a baby cot with mosquito net for him and he slept very well in it. our bed was very good, pillows are good as well.
The hotel is very beautiful. the villas are spacious and comfortable and very private. The AC is very good (powerful and silent). plants and flowers in the lush garden. excellent breakfast unlimited quantity. very good restaurant. kind and helpful staff. amazing view especially at sunrise.
Location is remote but it has 1 beautiful black sand beach and 1 beautiful stones beach just 5mn walking. 3 goods other local restaurants nearby as well ! Japanese shipwreck is right here for snorkeling.
Overall we were happy but there were some details which we would have liked to know beforehand :
- Quite far from Amed’s activities (20-30 minutes).
- very close from the village with lots of noisy activity in morning (6am).
- The bedroom had no blackout curtains so our baby woke us up at 6 every morning.
- First days the swimming pool had lots of chlore but then it was corrected.
- The staff is not always present at the reception so you have to be patient.
- lots of mosquitos - many mosquito bites
- The hotel overall needs renovation (swimming pool, villas kitchen and bathroom) but it’s still ok :) and renovation is planned by the management.

Nice view and patio in front of the room
Hotel/room outdated. breakfast definitely below average.

The location is in a quiet village right behind the Japanese ship wreck with great snorkeling/diving.
The hotel restaurant was great especially the complimentary breakfast. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Awesome views of the bay and valley .
The steep steps from the street to restaurant and then villas were challenging in the heat but this is typical of Amed resorts built on the cliffsides.
Kids should be taken care of to avoid falls.
