Amazing !

All the staff is so nice and friendly! You have filtered water in the room, and the pool is amazing (so big, deep but still have some shallow area, and the view !). Breakfast included is nice too. We loved our stay and will come back. 😍 For us, location was perfect as it’s not really in the center and we wanted to avoid crowds and have a quiet space. But to go everywhere you’ll need to hire a scooter (can directly book through the hotel). And 5 mins from the beach !

Very beautiful Amed views

The garden is very beautiful and you can see the sea from the property. Very nice views, big and beautiful pool with sunbeds in the pool (very good for sunbathing). Food in the restaurant is very delicious and freshly prepared. I recommend eating lunch/dinner there.

It was a bit further from all of the attractions but if you arrange a snorkeling or scuba diving experience (which I recommend you try here), it is common that pick up from villa is included in the price.

In need of a few improvements

A lovely pool, although because of its dark coloured tiles it gets too warm (not much that can be done about that, but it was hard to cool off and Amed is extremely hot). Nicely looked after gardens and there is a friendly cat. The room is nice and large and there is free drinking water provided. There is a convenience store at the bottom of the steep driveway. The staff were helpful.

Only one towel per person, no separate bath or pool towels or even hand towels. We did ask for extra towels and were told no. It is extremely hot in Amed (hotter than other parts of Bali) and we found the AC to not be fully effective. The bed linen was also a bit threadbare.

Amazing place, Amazing people

Love how close it was to Lipah beach where I saw multiple turtles and was probably the best snorkelling spot just of the beach, the pool was amazing and the room was really clean and a really good size and the view off into the sea was lovely, the staff was excellent they sorted out a trip for us for the day and it was amazing, thoroughly enjoyed our stay here we will definitely return here if I’m in the area again

Honeymoon in Bali Bhuana

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon in Bali, for the Amed part of our stay (best place on Bali so far) The hotel grounds were immaculately clean. It was very relaxing and walking distance from Limpah beach, one of the best beaches on the island. Breakfast was very good we opted for the Indonesian option and never looked back. Hotel staff were very forthcoming and accommodating, Special shout-out to Wayan, h e helped us with everything we needed inside and outside the hotel, as it pertains to transfer , excursions, activities etc.

Very comfortable stay and good value with a couple of good restaurants nearby.

The breakfast was basic but fresh fruit platter was good. The view from the room was awesome with a nice verandah to enjoy it. The pool area was also very nice.

The hotel itself was great value but outside on the street they are upgrading the main road so it’s difficult and dusty to walk on.

Horrible stay

We had a security issue (our door was opened when we were out for dinner and our stuff has been searched), the manager didn’t do anything about it, just repeating it was not him (who care) We didn’t felt safe and left the hotel in the middle of the night.

Great option for proximity to Lipah beach in one direction, and to the best sunset view bar (Weini'.

The room was spacious and clean, the bed was large and very comfortable. It was great that there was extra seating not only inside the room, but outside with a small table also in front of each seat. The bathroom was large, the storage was good. The manager Wayan was very helpful including with local transport. The driveway is steep but as I was in the front room (Room 1) this was not really an issue- as other people have mentioned it could be if you have mobility issues, but you get great views! The pool and pool area is fantastic. Great option for 5-10 minute walking distance proximity south to Lipah beach in one direction (where you really can snorkel straight off the beach and there are a couple of good warungs), and north to the best sunset view bar (Weini's) in the other direction. This hotel is not in the busiest part of Amed, but it's fine. There's a supermarket ('the Bhuana shop') at the roadside level of the hotel where you can get your cheap softdrinks, Bintangs, etc. Be generous and kind with the manager and staff, as they went through a really rough time for 2 years during covid and that still stings.

Nothing. There are roadworks currently in the area but it's estimated that in 5-6 months this project will be completed. You just need to take care walking along the road, like the care you need to take walking most places in Bali!

Beautiful location on the edge of Lipah bay with attentive staff and lovely rooms.

The property was as pictured on Booking.com. Rooms beautiful and clean. Pool sensational. Wayan and Made happy to meet every request including scooter rides locally, snorkeling with a private boat, and organised a tour on my way back to the airport. I was made to feel very welcome and safe as a solo traveller.

The grounds are meticulously maintained, making for a beautiful environment. The views of the ocean are absolutely stunning. While there is a bit of a steep walk up the hill, the friendly staff are more than happy to assist with your luggage. The bungalows offer spectacular sunrise views, especially if you're situated higher up. Breakfast is delightful, and both Made and Wyan go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. This hidden treasure by the beach should not be Ed missed

Green ideal relaxation retreat

The room was giant, the bathroom was very confortable and clean, we had all the amenities needed in the room including a drinking water dispenser, kettle, coffee and tea. The bed was comfy, not too soft or hard. The view with the sea was amazing from the room even in the last row of houses! The staff was extremely kind and reactive, they offered room cleaning everyday but never pushed it on to us (which was very appreciated). The property is beautiful, it is way greener than on the booking pictures (lots of trees and flowers). And the pool ! It is actually massive, with the insane view, the water temperature is amazing and it feels more private than on the pictures thanks to the trees. Also nice to have the option to get a massage in the room for very little money (although it's obviously not the same as a spa).

The restaurant of the villa isn't the tastiest although it's nice for an easy dinner. There is good eating options within walking distance. For very sensitive people like me, the pillows were a bit hard in my opinion.

Peaceful and private

Very well maintained property with lovely views, lush garden and nice pool. Room 2 had a great ocean view you could enjoy from the bed or outside patio. Room was spacious with a small fridge and bed was very comfortable. Staff really nice and helpful. You can easily walk to Lipah Beach and along the way are nice warungs and couple of spas plus there's a supermarket next door.

Nothing. It was very chilled and quiet in early June. The small villages along the Amed coast are spread out and accessed by one narrow road which probably gets really busy during high season. Amed village has more shops, restaurants and accomm and could be a bit livier.

Tranquil resting in Amed

View from my room to the ocean superb, 10 min walk to Lipah beach for great snorkelling. Very good restaurants close by. Lovely pool, tranquil resting spot. Breakfast options basic but good. Help to organise driver if you want by Wayan who is super kind and caring. Room has kettle, fridge, water provided.

Excellent Stay

My wife and I had a fabulous stay at Bali Bhuana so much so we extend for 4 more days. Perfectly positioned far enough away from the road so little traffic noise and wow what a view. Villas are clean comfortable pool amazing. Located in a nice part of Amed, close to some of the best restaurants in town. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast perfect eggs 🍳 😁 Will definitely be returning

Nice but could be better

Pool is fabulous. The villas are up a fairly steep hill and a little out from Lipah, we didn't rent a scooter and the slopes became hard work. Beautiful views over the ocean.

Breakfast is limited, same 5 choices every day with 1 cup of tea or coffee and one glass of juice Getting clean towels was difficult, they should be replaced everyday

I give 10 points because for the price you pay including breakfast it's good and WIFI was also good. About 150 meter from the hotel you can get book PADI course or introduction dive. Close to the hotel is also a restaurant called Gusto which has very good and reasonable priced food. The hotel is old, but pool is very nice. Breakfast is Bali coffee, pancake or omelette with bread and jam and a little plate with fruit or fruit juice.

The rooms are very spacious and super clean with coffee and tea at your disposal + your own water tank to refill your bottles. Nice! Staff is very kind and helpful. Banana pancakes for breakfast are great and you can also rent a scooter at the reception. This place is perfect!

Good value for money, nice service

Villas are massive and equipped with basic but sufficient amenities. They are located on the quiet side of Amed, which is very fine if you can drive a scooter. There are few shops around, including a small supermarket, few restaurants laundries and massage spas, and the place is conveniently located next the beautiful Lipah beach. There is a beautiful swimming pool available and clean. Scooter are available for rent. Scuba diving is also possible down the road. All in all, good value for money and great service by the personnel on site
