Amazing Place wish i could have stayed longer

I loved this place! I didn't want to leave 💖 When i arrived i was slightly worried about bugs and imsects being in my room etc but there was next to none and also a massive mosquito next over the bed. I was so cosy and comfy, breakfast was lovely and on time every morning and the staff where so nice and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stayed here and would reccomend to anyone

Quirky original colourful Balinese villa.

This is a really quirky villa. We loved it. Multicolored original Balinese building. Very funky. Breakfast was included and was great. Good choice and always on time. The location is very quiet and was within walking distance of the beach and town.

Beautifully relaxing and convenient getaway

The grounds are beautiful and our 3-bedroom bungalow felt authentic, quirky and had beautiful bathrooms. The staff were great and super friendly and helpful, breakfast was nice, and the location was quite convenient with several shops and restaurants on your doorstep, and the main part of Amed not far to walk to either (we had to go along the beach as the footpath past the temple was closed for ceremonial purposes, but I think it's a quicker route).

We thought we were booking a villa with private pool but as we were leaving another accommodation due to problems this was likely our haste making us not read things thoroughly. The bungalow has no windows unless you have the doors open so can be quite dark - we didn't mind at all, but it might be worth bearing in mind.

WE had a very relaxing stay here in the beautiful garden and carved and painted timber buildings

I loved the authentic Balinese timber buildings we were housed in. The host has gone to some trouble to preserve them and their stories. A welcome change from the cold concrete comfort. Beautiful gardens too.

Excellent accommodation, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast

Lovely traditional villa. Great outdoor area and pool. Breakfast was fresh and well prepared. Staff were friendly and helpful. My son had an injury. Mrs Putu arrived immediately and took us to the doctor. She was really helpful.

Beautiful breakfasts for me, fresh fruit, pancakes, and tea delivered promptly by a smiling staff member - my husband also really enjoyed the hot breakfasts.

It was a bit tricky to get into the main part of the town - you either had to take a shortcut through fields or go the longer way via the road.

I highly recommend Villa Melasti and we would definitely stay here again.

The villa was beautiful - set in a lovely, private garden, very quiet and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful. After a long day of travelling to get there is was particularly nice to be greeted with welcome drinks and snacks and to have food delivered from a local warung to the villa. There are some great food places nearby - we particularly liked Om Krishna - just a couple of minutes walk away (some of the best food we had during our entire stay in Indonesia).

Amazing!

The Staff were incredibly nice. The place was very peaceful. The food was authentic, simple and great. All for a super reasonable (cheap) price.

As we were near rice fields, there were some mosquitos which I struggled with.

A relaxed stay

Everything : Owner was always reachable thru WhatsApp and provided assistance when asked Staff was always ready to help me as well and explained the meaning of their morning rituals Property has everything you need to have a relaxed time: Pool small but clean Rooms have different theme, I stayed in the middle one with a Java theme. Bed and pillows were comfortable; it has a fan and air conditioner that works good; room comes with a safe and other amenities like small fridge and kettle. Bathroom was clean and it comes with beach and regular towels; water pressure in shower is normal But what I like the most , it was sitting in the porch and relaxing listening to birds singing, looking at butterflies and the soothing sounds of running water from the pool, enjoying the cat resting peacefully If I return to Amed, I will not hesitate to return to Villa Melasti

Beautiful comfortable stay. Everything was amazing - from the lovely friendly kind staff, the delicious breakfast with refill cup of tea, the comfortable rooms and beautiful outdoor bathroom, the pretty gardens and the great swimming pool that was always quiet and great to swim and relax in and around. Short 3-5min walk down to access the beach. Loved every bit of my stay here and I would have easily stayed longer and longer in this beautiful place.

Best to have a motorbike to access food options (other than breakfast provided) it is short walk to beach but then a bit further form there to get to the many food options in main area. Still walkable but feels far when it's hot or dark

Incredible traditional Balinese villa with great pool, very warm and helpful staff

Beautiful setting with Javanese architecture and stunning gardens. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. We were able to access local Balinese massage and hiring bikes from the local staff. Delicious breakfast, spotless villa and probably the best pool we had the pleasure to swim in in Bali ☺️

Friendly/welcoming team and lovely villa!

We had the best stay in Villa Melasti! Putu and her team were amazing and made us feel so welcome. The place is very lush with vegetation and the wooden-style cottage that we stayed in was very unique and cosy. Everything we needed was taken care of from transfers from Uluwatu to renting scooters. We were both working remotely during our stay, so it was really great to have good/reliable wifi. There was also a really nice cafe nearby (a few hundred metres) where we could go to do some work if we wanted a change of scenery. I was freediving in Tulamben, so staying on this side of Amed was really convenient. It was also great being so close to the restaurants/bars in Amed. There is a yoga studio and Muy Thai gym nearby, but we didn't have time to check them out. All in all, it was a perfect stay, we will definitely be back! Thanks, Putu and team! xx

We spent a week in the 3 bed Villa with our two kids and we just loved it - heaps of space . The pool is super deep and a lovely temp the gardens are very relaxing, the beds are comfy and Putu and her staff are incredibly helpful. They arranged motorbike hire, massage and exceptional yoga instructor for our stay at good prices. The location is amazing for getting around on motorbikes. Snorkeling in this area is brilliant. Melasti Villas is a great option to explore the area.

Cute and clean lil timber house with private front patio overlooking lush garden and swimming pool was perfect. Location was ideal and quiet near Amed busy streets. Delightful breakfasts and great delivery food with restaurant around. All staff were very helpful, kind and lovely to deal with. I recommend 100%

Loved the fully wooden villa. Lovely decorated with an outdoor bathroom. Bed was comfy maybe a bit too bouncy. Very nice brekky. Staff was lovely and competent.

beautiful grounds and a rustic style villa with great staff

wonderful helpful manager. good location from the beach. she had tons of suggestions and was able to help us with a scooter rental very quickly. food breakfast. nice welcome drink and decor for our honeymoon. if you want a traditional rustic villa- this place is perfect for you

it was much more rustic than the photos showed, lots of holes in between the floor boards so lots of bugs and mosquitos, are keys even fell through the floor and we had to crawl under the Villa to get them. also the bathroom was nice but an extremely low ceiling with exposed nails. my wife at 5’9” was brushing my head, I’m 6’8” so I had to stand completely bent over in the bathroom.

A genuine Bali experience.

What to not like? A block from the beach, amazingly sweet staff and owner (Putu), great breakfast, private pool. Thank you Putu for organizing scooters and for introducing us to our first (in full costume) to a Hindu celebration. We also enjoyed morning fishing (Wahoo!!) and private yoga sessions on site. Our 2 day stay stretched to 4 days and was the highlight of our Bali experience.

Staff was so nice and helpful. Cottage was very nice and super clean! We are vegan and there was no problem with making our breakfast vegan. Villa Melasti has a beautiful garden and it is perfect to relax. Thank you very much! 💙
