Very friendly staff, great location and beautiful area to stay in.

The bungalow was great and the bed so comfy. The location is fantastic, a convenience store is right next door, and the Bamboo Sweet Spa just down the road for massages, mani/pedis and hair treatments. I didn't ride a scooter so it was great to have amazing restaurants within walking distance including Galanga and Gusto. It rained a lot so I only got to go snorkelling once, but I enjoyed the down time to read and eat.

Nothing to complain about! I would have liked to visit the volcano but the weather was too wet.

Would highly recommend this hotel! Very comfortable and silent for a really relaxing stay in Amed.

We really liked the silence and calmness of the room and the place in general. Very comfortable bed and big room and bathroom! Garden was very pretty and well kept.

Staff was slightly rude when asked for a taxi. It was a bit far from Main Street with restaurants and beaches but if you have a scooter then everything is very near.

The place is well layer out The regular room I had was very nice but over all was expensive! But Very helpful and kind staff....

The WiFi was terrible had been placed on top of he air conditioning unit..🙄 my cabin was close to reception...unfortunaly the staff are very noisy especially when their friends arrive.. and have not yet been taught how to speak quietly... Unfortunatly at the Guest house dosent sell wine...only beer...which is an extremely damaging self I posed regulation! ...so I had my meals elsewhere!

Best stay I’ve ever had

Everything. This place was great. The staff were awesome and treat you so good. The resident cats were talkative and really friendly. The area is perfect. The food is top notch and the beds were so comfortable. The pool was good too. I loved my stay and will be back.

Nice place amongst beautiful gardens.

Great staff! The gardens are really beautiful and the rooms are very nice. Stayed in a deluxe bungalow and also a standard. Both good but I preference was the standard. Pool area was great too. Hired scooter here which was great. Only ten minutes to heart of Amed.

The bathroom door in deluxe rooms were noisy sliders making getting up during the night difficult for my partner.

A relaxing place for me at a stressful time. Well appreciated!

Excellent courtyard, restaurant, and pool made this a great place to hang around and relax. The staff were very attentive and kind and the cook gets 4 stars. Highly recommended. The cat with the very annoying meow was, in the end, quite cute. The WiFi was weak, but that may not be the hotel's fault. Breakfast was acceptable, but the rest of the food was outstanding.

The hosts made my stay in Amed wonderful! Highly recommend this oasis!

The property had 2 pools and you had access to both. The breakfast was amazing, my favourite was the omelette with fruit salad; It was delicious everytime. Each bungalow had a private patio area, I sometimes would enjoy my morning coffee for the slower mornings. I would highly recommend to stay at this property!

Great large, clean room with Air con. Wonderful jungle feel to the property and friendly staff. Nearby Warung Sama Cafe was great for local classics - for both food and songs the staff sang (10/10). They sorted us a couple reliable mopeds. Plenty drinking water in the room. Friendly cats.

Excellent villa with nice layout and well built buildings. Pool was a nice touch. It was quiet and comfortable.

When I booked breakfast was included with the villa but when we got there there was no breakfast. The gate could not be kept closed from inside. The main bedroom has ants problem near the outside wall.

As a big group or family, you need to take transportation to go to the nearest good beaches and the hotel offers quite high prices for that, better to ask people outside of the hotel but not always convenient with kids

Very good

This is a special place. A great feel to it. We just stayed one night but could have stayed more. The Villa is great, clean and feels nice. The pool was good. Lovely garden and surroundings. Also the people working there were nice and the dives were superb!

Shower was oke but not great. It feels a bit outdated compared to the whole Villa and facilities. It could do with an upgrade that suits the rest.

We stayed in the 2 bedroomvilla wich was perfect with our 2 kids of 1 and 3. They did not have a babycot but we were able to put a couch to the wall to create one wich worked perfect. We loved the porch, swimming pool only shared with 2 villas, spacious rooms with mosquito nets and aircon. And 2 bathrooms. The staff were very friendly, helping us with transfers scooters and massages. Kids loved the pancakes for breakfast ( starting at 7, also easy with kids) The location was great, just outside the busy area but close to everything. Walking distance from really good restaurant galanga.

Beautiful hotel, close to jemeluk, lipah beach and Japanese Wreck ship. Delicious food, helpful stuff. It's quiet and green😊 Breakfast are good too! Close to the place- Adi Shop (ATM, snorkeling gear,food and beverage). Clean pool

Dissapointed with the communication but good facilities

The villas are situated in a setting, are secluded and spacious. We shared the pool with the neighbours but as they did not use the pool too much, this was no issue and mostly had it for ourselves. The pool we had was big and clean but we had the family villa with 2 bedrooms at the end of the complex so different then some other villas. The breakfast service was nice and a big compliment to the housekeeping staff who was cleaning the garden, pool and our place. Our son was sleeping late and we agreed on some later cleaning which worked fine.

We choose this place based on the great reactions from customers on the place and the staff. The communication before our stay was fast and pleasant. During our stay it was kind of up and down when we were in contact with the local staff. Perhaps we were a bit spoiled by our stay and the customer service from Ubud and we missed this a bit in Amed. Though I feel we're rather flexible and easy to go with when it comes to finding solutions we were a bit surprised by the attitude of some of the people around who were not looking for solutions. On the site was mentioned there was a free shuttle to Lipah beach and there were yoga lessons. When asking about this the answer was "no there is not!". Only after discussion with the owner, something was arranged but the person driving us obviously was rather annoyed that we did not pay him for a free shuttle. Yoga was not possible. We understand that these offers were perhaps for the summer season and if they would explain that unfortunately this was not the case anymore we would be OK but the strict NO was rather disappointing. We wanted to rent a scooter and got a price. The day after the price was + 10.000. We rented snorkling stuff which went fine and was arranged by somebody from the hotel. The next day they said that it's not possible and that we had to go to the beach and get them ourselves (for a higher price). Most staff had a smile on their faces eevery day and help out but 2 staff members obviously were a bit irritated by us asking for more information. When asking for help we felt a bit like the "spoiled customers from the west" though we felt we just politely asked for some basics. So the place itself is nice, distance to several beaches around is OK but you will need a scooter. Scooters nice in price but carefull with taxis as they are overpriced (100.000 for a trip which in Ubud would cost 20.000).

Hidden tropical oasis

Central location for exploring many snorkelling sites and has beautiful gardens, mountain views and a convenient on-site restaurant. Our bungalow was clean, comfortable and tucked away from the main street, providing us with a quiet stay. The accommodation is within walking distance of a number of eateries and convenience stores. Great breakfast included in the room rate.

Disappointing experience with a driver a staff member put me in touch with. A price and itinerary was agreed over the phone, I reconfirmed the itinerary with the driver again when collected, but partway through the journey he said it would cost extra to see the remaining attractions. He apologised for the misunderstanding, saying he was distracted when we originally spoke over the phone. I couldn’t help but feel taken advantage of. It would be better for the hotel staff to arrange all transfers to avoid any misunderstandings. That aside, the driver was friendly and drove very responsibly.

Relaxing beautiful grounds, very friendly people.

Very friendly people. Beautiful relaxing grounds with many trees for shade, and good for hanging a hammock as well as hanging a clothing line for drying wetsuits/etc. The cooking classes are a lot of fun and the food Anis showed us how to make ended up being one of the tastiest meals we ate on the whole trip.

We liked almost everything. If I had to pick something that needs improvement, maybe they could replace some of the pillows with some fresh ones. But really overall it's great.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Bungalows are located in a big lush garden and are spacious and comfortable. Room had a mini fridge, aircon, mineral water and a nice veranda. Bathroom was partly outdoors, which I like, and proper soap and shampoo was available (which was a first for me in Bali). Staff was helpful renting a scooter and arranging transport to our next destination. Supermarkets and some great food nearby.

Isnt located right at the beach. No problem if you have a scooter, though. It's a five minute drive to the nearest beach.

super convenient location with kind staff and decent breakfast!

we loved having our own private villa. the shower was a god send after a long day of traveling. the staff was very helpful and got us checked in and into our room almost immediately. the breakfast was nice, and the property itself was very pretty.

we had a bit of an issue with ants in our room. they were all over the floor of the room and our patio by the time we woke up.

Nice and big room, had everything what you need. Breakfast was really good, quick and fresh. I like the semi -outside bathroom but be aware of some small animals ;) really nice area around the pool and well maintained

The mosquito nets didnt close and the bed was a little bit to soft for me, but some people might like it. The pool was really warm, but the beach is close, so thats just a very small complain

Exactly what I needed, relaxed and amazing food.

My trip to Amed was only for scuba, this was a great place to stay for a great price. It was recommended by my dive centre and I was very happy with it. (solo travel) The food in the internal restaurant it’s very good!

The location was great for scuba but far from main centre. You need a scooter to reach main bars and restaurants although a few good options within walking distance.
