Hotel Uyah Amed Spa Resort

The staff truly made this place. We stayed for a week and each and every person always made an effort to talk to us and find out about our plans. We had a few early starts with a different diving school so they let us preorder food the night before so it’ll be ready in the morning. They even made us a to go box the morning we departed. Rooms were very comfortable, ac was great and the mosquito nets around the beds worked so well! Restaurant was lovely, the food tasted amazing and for a decent price. Exceptional service by all members of staff. They offered a tab option while you stayed too. Laundry was done and brought back to your room the next day, it smelled amazing. Pools were relaxing, you could use them whenever you wanted. This truly felt like a resort, incredibly peaceful and a beautiful place to stay for a few days. We loved the dogs and cats playing most days too, all well fed and looked after.

As there are many decorations in the rooms, some could get quite dusty. The shower pressure was fine but a lot of hard water build up so came out in weird spurts. If you get a room near the front of the property, there is a loud bar opposite, however they only played loud music 2 of the 8 nights we stayed, both ending at 11pm, so this is manageable.

We had a pleasant stay. Was close to where we wanted to go. They assisted with our scooter rental. The breakfast was great. Big property with loads of open spaces. Gives a nice, relaxed vibe.

It was very noisy at night. Neighboring bars had karaoke till late at night.

Nice location and beautiful land full of palm trees. Direct access to the beach

Mattress are old and too soft. Also beds ate small and pillow fall down all the time because of headboard shape.
