Hotel Uyah Amed Spa Resort

Fantastic location- right on the beach and also next to cafes and restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. There was a dive centre at the hotel which was great. They helped us work out where to snorkel and had equipment and good advice.

No one contactable during the night when the power went out. Had to wait till morning to alert staff and get it fixed.

Location location location! Right on the beach. In the middle of Amed. If you are looking for luxury, this isn't the place. This is an ecco friendly resort. This means no fridge, jug or TV. You can drink the water from the tap as it's filtered. Villa was directly facing the beach, could sit on the balcony and watch the beach, or move to the loungers under the trees and read where there was a breeze. Two swimming pools. We were there for a week and there villas were all full. People come to scuba or dive or learn to do either as they have a training school set up right in the hotel. Walk along the beach to a few warungs for meals or a drink. The staff were the assets for this beautiful place. Happy, smiling. Already looking ahead to returning next year. 🙂

Bedbugs cockroaches in the room Dirty sheets and pillows, yellow marks on pillow covers and bad smell Dirty bathroom and sink Room service woke me up in the morning to clean up and waited till I go out , no respect for the guest and no “do not disturb “ sign available to put out
