Affordable accommodation

If you want a quiet stay definitely stay here. Staff are wonderful more than helpful and breakfast are a must. Older style accommodation and worth the money. Can recommend Sudi for your hotel taxi drive he took me on some awsome day trips. Chemist across the road and min mart a mins walk and many restaurants with in walking distance. Would recommend a stay here i stayed 20 days and loved it.

Great place lovely pool , but oh so many deep stairs,would absolutely recommend this place so long as you don't have ANY mobility issues

Friendly staff. Wonderful pebble beach front with infinity pool at bottom of hill. Separate villas with large bedrooms & bathrooms. Snorkelling is a must. Easy quotes & rental nearby. Beautiful corals & fish to see. Great restaurant onsite or easy walking to Warungs nearby. Nice to have a fridge in the room.

Very enjoyable & one area you’re comfortable riding scooters.

Located right on the beach front & our room was right by pool & beach. Staff were really great super friendly.

We had issues with internet & mobile network coverage while on our stay. Apparently it wasn’t just the property it was also island wide. We did notice others on devices though so not fully sure what happened.

Nice enough but frustrating

It was clean and relatively comfortable , had a pool and a.c and ocean views

Water pressure was terrible and most of the shower settings didn’t work. Wifi was definitely not high speed like advertised and most of the time it didn’t work at all. Staff were friendly enough but most of the time wanted you to book something. Relaxing by the pool? Get pestered about a massage. Having a beer on the porch? Get asked if you want to book a tour or trip, or need a taxi.

Good value for money and beautiful location

Location was excellent. Room was very clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. Food was good for the price.

Pool area could have been presented a little nicer with some better furniture and perhaps side tables. No toilet paper in room and the stairs were way too steep for my old body😊

There was terrible confusion with the booking... It turns out there are two double One villas, and whilst we were turned away for not having a booking at the first one, it turns out we seem to have had a booking at each for the same three people for the same time.I Could not get a refund at the one we stayed in, they referred us to Booking.com, still trying to work out how to apply for that refund. No staff to assist getting our considerable amount of luggage down the 100 or so steep steps to our "se side" villa, despite our arrival as advised (11.00 am, lots of broken stuff including the front door latch, rstaurand offered only contiental or American breakfasts and seemed open for just a couple of hours morning and evening, We checked out days erlier then we booked for, but to their credit, they refunded the days we did not stay there

Very peaceful in a quiet location.

This is the third time I've stayed here. It's very peaceful and the location suits us well. There's snorkelling right in front of the hotel.

The bathrooms are getting a little tired but the rooms are good. They just need an update and a bit of maintenance.

Annoying owner

The beds are comfortable, the pool is clean, the place is just steps away to the beach and calm. The staff are great, friendly and helpful. They let me use some cups and bowls from the restaurant

The owner asked me multiple times what time I would come to the villa with annoying text. They also asked me to transfer some money even though I chose pay at property for the payment. The wifi was ok the first night but awful the other day. They don't have coffee, tea, sugar, nor kettle in the room

The location of the property is absolutely beautiful, and the reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. However, we had a somewhat uncomfortable experience with the room service staff. On our second day, as we were heading out with some bags, a staff member approached us and assumed we were carrying laundry. We explained that the bags contained our personal belongings for the car, but he continued to ask questions about why we were leaving Amed and tried to persuade us to stay and do water sports, which felt intrusive. The most concerning issue happened at checkout. A staff member claimed we had used items from the minibar, even though we had not touched it. It raises serious concerns that someone may have entered the villa during our absence and taken the drinks. We strongly recommend taking photos of everything in the room when you check in, including the minibar contents, to avoid similar issues.

Nice views, good restaurant, pool and beach access, decent snorkeling just offshore (we saw an eel and a big blue starfish, and of course many other fish and corals) also fairly close to the Japanese Shipwreck snorkeling site which I recommend!

Nice relaxing stay an enjoyable time

Beautiful setting and lovely pool, rooms are getting a little tired but good value for money. People expecting a sandy beach would be disappointed however as this is our second visit to Double One it wasn’t an issue. Excellent restaurant just down the road providing great Italian food

Great pool, great view, beachfront, comfortable bed and bungalow with ac, very nice staff, especially Wanda who was so helpful and easy to reach if needed, nice breakfast on site if you like, arranged scooter and snorkel gear, restaurants nearby, and shops. To me, Amed is best experienced on a scooter, even though one may not use it all that much.

Staff was nice, we are allowed to use the kitchen at night (they only serve breakfast & lunch) Snorkeling trip was good & reasonable price. Nice front beach pool.

Overall good, just don't really like so many stairs to go to restaurant & pool. It difficult for some people who have problem to walk.

Beautiful view in a peaceful spot.

The bungalow was large and had a great view of the pool and the sea. The fridge came in handy too! Wonderful pool, also had a great view. Breakfast were delicious and extra tea and coffee was available. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Nyoman who helped us with our wifi issues!! Close to a few restaurants, for more options you would need a scooter.

The wifi was excellent when it was working but we had lots of occasions where it dropped out completely. A bit frustrating.
