Sweet ocean stay

Beautiful pool. Loved sitting in the small thatched balai watching the ocean. Staff really nice and helpful. Good snorkelling right in front of the pool area. Good breakfasts!

Beautiful and peaceful

This was my second stay at Bali Dream House and it was great. The rooms are lovely, the pool is nice overlooking the ocean, it's good value for money, and so peaceful and relaxing. It's located in a quieter part of town which I like. Hope to be back again.

Bali Dream house is a little piece of paradise if you are looking to chill and relax!

We had a little beachfront bungalow right near the pool and we loved it! It was so peaceful and tranquil set amazing the most beautiful well maintained garden. Very basic but clean and comfortable and the staff were all very friendly and helpful such lovely people! It was our own piece of paradise!

There are 40 steep steps to get up and down to the bungalows. We managed ok but if you have mobility issues it would be hard. It’s not close to many warungs and can’t really walk anywhere as there isn’t much to see but there are taxis available to take you into the little town.

Well designed, peaceful seaside haven

This is a beautifully designed small resort built on a hillside leading from the reception and cafe on the side of the road, past lovely gardens and a few bungalows, finally arriving at two sea view bungalows, a pleasant small pool and the somewhat rocky beach. Everything here is thoughtful in design, with a feeling of privacy between the nicely spaced out cottages. The gardens are mature and carefully maintained, as is everything else. Our bungalow had an enormous and comfortable bed, a little day bed by a window and a gorgeous outdoor shower. There was ample space to unpack and store clothes and other personal items, as well as a small refrigerator and safe deposit box. The aircon worked a treat as well. Best of all was the spacious veranda on which to relax and eat generous breakfasts and any other meals that you might enjoy. The resort is a few kilometres south of Amed and there are several warungs located nearby. All in all, this was a great experience!

It was the perfect place to stay, we loved it.

Our 4 day stay at Bali Dream House was absolutely wonderful. Our beach front bungalow was perfect with pool and breathtaking ocean views. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and breakfast by the pool each morning was a great way to start the day. We hired scooters to explore the Amed coastline, visit the beautiful beaches and also explore the mountain areas. Staff provided us with free snorkelling gear and they also have convenient, safe scooter parking right out the front. We highly recommended Bali Dream House and hope to visit again.

Some traffic noise and if you are not physically able to go up and down stairs then this may be difficult for you.

A beautiful slice of heaven with amazing friendly staff and attentive service

A slice of heaven. Can’t put into words that view. Staff so attentive and friendly, snorkelling directly outside the hotel amazing, food beautiful. Gorgeous!

The bed was a bit creaky and the bedding smelt a little bit damp, but not sure whether the rain had made it tricky for them to dry it properly after washing!

A great place to relax for a few days. I would stay again if visiting Amed

A lovely piece of paradise. Spacious cottages with a lounge area as well as outside lounge and table for morning breakfast. Small but clean and fresh pool with plenty of sun lounges as well as 2 covered ones looking out to the ocean. Snorkelling directly out front and staff will provide you with snorkel gear. Breakfast was plentiful (don't miss the black rice porridge!) and is brought to the restaurant, your room or to the pool. Lots of restaurants within walking distance or a short scooter ride. It's away from the hustle and bustle of Amed town so it's nice and quiet. Spend the little bit extra and book one of the 2 cottages at the front. And of course, as with all the Balinese people, the staff are friendly, helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. It does have stairs to go down to the cottages which wasn't a problem for us (needed the exercise) but may not suit some people. It makes it quieter being away from the road.

The bed and pillows were a bit hard for me. Having said that I slept well with the sounds of the ocean.

Peaceful and relaxing beachside bungalows

Cute and comfortable bungalow in garden setting, with direct access to the beach. Good breakfast and friendly and helpful staff . Free use of snorkelling gear. There are a few other places nearby where you can get drinks/ meals.

The location is a few kilometres outside Amed - the road is narrow and busy so not nice to walk along it. Better to hire a scooter or get a car.

Amazing location for snorkeling and sea view, could use some renovations

Awesome location right in front of the beach, with fantastic snorkelling only a few steps away. It’s a dream if you love a snorkel. Spacious good looking bungalow with all the essentials and a beautiful pool and sea view (room 1). Friendly and helpful staff, and a simple but good breakfast. Small but beautiful pool, and deep enough. Great to fall asleep listening to the waves.

The place is starting to show its age and some things need a renovation they’re looking old and worn. The shower pressure in the outdoor bathroom was very weak and the shower needs replacing. The porch chairs are pretty uncomfortable and the table is very low for eating - as we did eat breakfast on the porch all times it would have been great to have a proper table and chairs, there is space for it. Sound pricing could also be improved, as we could hear the cars on the road above by early morning. Use earplugs if you’re sensitive to this.

The garden of Eden.

Set in a very beautiful garden overlooking the valley and the sea. The little cottage had everything you could need and Saras and his family were über sweet and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. I took a massage which was very much needed after a day of travelling.

Fabulous location, delicious meals including breakfast, lovely clean villa and the staff were fantastic, friendly and welcoming, nothing was a problem, they even found us a scooter to rent so we could sightsee around Amed.We will definitely return. 😀😀😀

Paradise views in a quieter part of Amed

I loved that this hotel was in a quieter part of Amed. The paradise sunrise view, private room, well maintained grounds, beautiful staff and the location were perfect and I’d stay here again. Walking distance to Jemeluk Bay, shops and sunset point.

Although the wifi wasn’t great, the room had a musty smell and you could hear motorcycles from the road (if you want to stay on the beachfront this is something you have to deal with, so bring earplugs) I would stay here again.

Very nice place. Loved the view + pool + beach! The staff was very accommodating with early breakfast delivered to the room. They also helped with the laundry. However communication was sometime a challenge because of the language barrier. Overall we would recommend this place!!

Bali dream house - a perfect little resort

A perfect stay - we enjoyed the quite of this small resort away from crowds . The beach view room was Devine, waking up to stunning sunrises . The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Our resort driver Nengha was extremely helpful with giving us many tips and suggestions and always being available and patient. Most places we needed a car to take us as walking anywhere from here was difficult as there is no footpaths to walk safely . The pool was very clean and an enjoyable temperature- we were in there a lot .

There are quite a few stairs down to our villa which wasn’t a problem for us but should be considered if stairs are trouble for you

The staff was really amazing, they go above and beyond. Pool was calm and amazing. Snorkling in front of the hotel. The location was really good.would recommend to visit Galang restaurant close nearby.

Nice place with some minuses, that can be fixed.

It was nice, that the hotel is close to the beach with no turists, the beach in front is also beautiful for snorkeling. The hotel provide all the equipment for free. When we arrived we got the house which was closiest to the street (when you make a booking make sure not to get this one, as it is noisy), but when we asked to change it, the staff was kind to do it. Breakfast was ok, but for lunch or dinner we prefered other places around.

Two reception persons were nice, but somehow they looked stressed. The guy that was working in the morning looked sick..also it was weird to wait for breakfast and at the same time watch him cleaning toilet and then coming back to bring us breakfast. I think cleaning must be done before or after, doing it at the same time, with the same clothes and then bringing food is not hygienic. Same when you have a flue. The rooms were clean, it is kinda normal to have some fauna in Bali in your house, but this is the only place we stayed in Bali that had cockroaches.

It fitted my needs… I was in Amed simply to attend my brother’s 80th birthday.

The staff, the food and the facilities were all very good. The grounds and pool were well kept and very clean.

The beach and the ocean were not what I was led to expect. Rocky beach, dirty and dead coral and no canoe hire available but I still did plenty of swimming.

Truly dreamy

The dream house is perfect for relaxation and snorkeling. The breakfast was outstanding. The beds and loungers right next to the beach were our favourite spots to enjoy our meals. They let us order when we wanted and also the brekkie is available all day which was fabulous. The fruits and juices were fresh. The staff Gade took real good care of us and was very prompt. Everyone at beach house were prompt and supportive.

Chilled out spot for a snorkeling getaway

Quiet and peaceful location with good snorkeling from the beach right in front of the property. Staff were very helpful and extreemly friendly. Short walk up the hill to sunset point with great sunset views of Jemeluk bay and Mount Agung. Will definitely be coming back.

Stone pebble beach makes access to the sea slightly challenging but still very do able. Will take beach shoes next time.
