Coral View Villas

The location was perfect! We had a beachfront family villa and the views were stunning. We snorkelled out the front each day with coral and so many colourful fish just meters from shore. We were also lucky enough to see a turtle one day. The beach out the front also had a large sandy area where we played in the waves for hours in the lovely warm water. Mahi mahi restaurant at the resort had delicious food and was located right on the beach and there are plenty of other warungs and mini marts within a short walk. The gardens were immaculately kept and the pool area had a great feel with sunny and shady options and for us we loved how warm the pool water was after being out in the ocean. Our family villa was comfortable and spacious and the kids enjoyed the outside bath tub. We had 4 nights and can’t wait to return!

The only downfall was the doors and windows not properly closing with allowed mosquitoes into the room however we slept under the canopies so it didn’t affect our stay. Despite this there were air conditioners upstairs and downstairs and the room was lovely and cool.

The location was perfect. Far from the crowds, just by the perfect snorkeling area. Beautiful sea life. Bathroom very clean, outside area very well maintained and clean.

A bit more attention could be paid to cleaning and perhaps getting new bedding and mosquito nets.

The hotel is in an excellent location. The breakfast available is delicious. The staff at the restaurant are excellent. Regarding staff are also excellent and friendly. Staff at the front counter where hit and miss some very helpful some not very helpful.. The property has air-conditioning and beautiful outdoor bathrooms..

Our room was next to the road. Which made it noisy and we could hear everything in the adjoining room once guests came to stay there as well. Lizards had to be cleaned out of the air-conditioning when we arrived. There was some non-descriptive brown marks on the wall, which we also cleaned off ourselves with a wet towel. Toilet was not cleaned. Paint was peeling and the room looked tired. Snorkeling gear hire is to be negotiated direct with the dive people on the beach however, it is not a fixed price and they give you the gear without telling you how much you will be charged. They are disappointed when you do not have enough money to pay them at the end of your last snorkel. It would be better just to advertise the price they would like upfront to avoid disappointment.. they were not very helpful in organizing a transport for two people at the front desk.
