Beautiful spacious place with wonderful views.

It was very beautiful with lots of space. The building has cool barn vibe with tall ceilings. The pool and yard are of good size. The ac worked well and it was nice to have the aqua water dispenser there.

The 5th bedroom was abit of a walk to the rest of the rooms and pool. And the location wasn’t very walkable to restaurants or cafes. The beach is quite rocky. But all these paled in comparison to the views all around and the neat barn feel of the place. There isn’t a private place to get a massage but you can make it work around the pool area.

Paradise

An amazing situation. The beach, the ocean, the pool, the villas, the garden...all excellent. There were 12 of us and we had complete privacy and our own beach. Take water shoes for swimming in the ocean.

The breakfast could easily have improved. Fruit and pancakes were good.

The most stunning spot to live in the pool looking at the sea and have everything brought to you.

We loved our stay at the Kampung and would have been happy staying so much longer. We basically lived in the amazing pool and had most meals (yummy and even took very good care of me as a coeliac) brought to us by the lovely staff. And we had massages by the pool almost every day. When we did want to do anything else the manager Ketut arranged everything incredibly quickly - and her husband Nyoman took us to our few dinners out and to Tirta Gangga (and the airport in the end). We had some seasick-prone folk with us so snorkelled right off the front of the property and down towards the main local spot and saw lots of beautiful fish and coral (and a moray eel and lion fish!). It's a rocky beach so a little tricky to get in and out of but worth the effort. The dawns were particularly stunning over the water and we had fantastic weather even as it was pouring rain in Denspasar. The rooms are old and very dark with no glass and there are creatures about, but the aircon works surprisingly well and the beds were fantastically comfy and all had mosquito nets. Every bedroom having its own bathroom was great - we are 5 friends who all like having our own space alongside shared time. The most fantastic spot to stay put and relax. Thank you!

Basically nothing. Some hand soap along with the shampoo and body wash would have been appreciated. If there was a way to add cocktails to the menu, that would be an extra bonus!

The Kampung offers a spacious, private stay in a gorgeous garden!

The Kampung is located right on the beach, where you can enjoy beautiful sunrises. There’s plenty of space, complete privacy, and a gorgeous garden. The beach is very quiet. Staff is very kind.

Large rocks on the beach make it a bit difficult to get into the water, and the road to Amed is quite busy, which makes walking along it less appealing.

Traditional luxury in a peaceful quiet setting

Everything. A really stunning villa with our every need met by lovely ketut. Amazing food nearby, snorkelling was great, Made took us out on his boat and we saw turtles. Pool was amazing.

peaceful place

view, calm, pool, big room, sunrise. you can rent scooter, have a massage at home, they can cook for you. delicious fish bbq. The manager is very nice and reactive if you need something. I recommand !

Great place

Beautiful place by the sea. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed snorkeling a hundred meters to the left of the villa. Restaurant Galanga just at the end of the small road is great.

Beautiful property, exceptional service! The best place to relax and enjoy. It was the perfect location for our family to spend time together without feeling too crowded. Breakfast was delicious and on time each morning. We liked the food so much we kept ordering our dinner from the property too.

We had hoped to do some snorkeling directly off the property. While we were able to do some, it seems that the rainy season had an impact and that the water right on the shore was a bit muddy and not ideal for snorkeling.

It was my Partner birthday, and he ( us ) had amazing experience. staff are amazing. View is beautiful. we love how quite & peaceful surrounding. Food they cooked for my partner birthday are delicious. Beautiful place and worth the money.

The view was beautiful. It is self contained with helpful staff. Requests were responded to promptly.

The house structures are really old. Badly in need of refurbishing. The taps / hot & cold water system were not working well in all rooms. The unit facing / closest to the pool and sea has an outdoor shower without any shade. Had to shower under the rain and it took awhile for the water to get warm. Probably a bit too close to the wild, there were a few lizards, centipedes and grasshopper in the open toilet. incl frogs after the rain. Not a place for those who is scared of creepy crawlies.

The perfect location for 100% relaxing

This is the perfect relaxing getaway. We were so looked after from the minute we arrived. Thank you to Ketut and her team 🙏 The snorkelling just left of the villas is amazing, as is the pool overlooking the ocean. The bungalows are incredibly quaint and comfortable, with the outdoor bathrooms being a highlight. We loved every relaxing minute of our stay here. would highly recommend and will be back one day.

It was a bit far from the main area of Amed but it’s easy enough to hire a bike or get a driver. Ketut helped us with that.

We stayed at the 5-bedroom villa. The property is awesome! They have done a great job restoring traditional buildings while providing all comfort one needs! So you don't have to worry about the usual critters or other shortcomings of old buildings. You have all the comfort while enjoying an authentic place! In addition the staff is super friendly, they catered for us and made sure we have everything we need.

There is not much to do at walking distance, but that's the norm in Amed. There are several good restaurants (at all price ranges) at walking distance, though.

Location, view of the ocean, the ambiance was perfect.

The bed was very hard. The couch cushions were also not very soft. Would recommend to place a power outlet for recharging mobile devices near the desk. I had to find power outlets behind furniture and unplug lamps.

The Kampung is real gem in Amed and a must stay place👍

The Joglo (traditional Indonesian cabins), grounds, pool, kitchen and open lounge were perfect. The Kampung team (Made, Ketut) and all they did for us was above and beyond. Breakfast was excellent especially those pancakes. 😎👍🙏
