The Griya Villas and Spa

Amazing Villas with a fantastic view on the sea. Very confortable and spacious rooms with inside/out bathroom with lot of charm. Large and beautiful swimming pool to enjoy and relax. Lovely staff, manager and owner with all the facilities accessible: restaurant, cafe, massage and gym in the same complex. You have all the confort at the finger print while keeping a very private and calm environment.

The villas were amazing. Great pool and views.

The bed was uncomfortable and towels were like sandpaper.

We loved our stay here! The staff are wonderful and very kind. The views are amazing...we watched sunrise every day over the ocean which was magic! We ate in the restaurant each day too and the food was great. The villa was very comfortable and clean. The kids loved snorkelling from the beach. Would definitely come back!

The hotel needs renovation. The views are nice, but the view from the two-bedroom villas is blocked by the roof of the adjacent villa. Dinner is very good, but every day options are missing at breakfast. Unlike other 5-star hotels, they do not offer an afternoon snack. Housekeeping was quite mediocre. Furthermore, one of our bedrooms smelled very bad; despite complaining to the staff, it was never fixed, likely due to a plumbing issue. The gym equipment is old, the exercise bike was unstable, and there was no water available. In Amed, it is difficult to walk around as road conditions are terrible and there are no sidewalks, making it dangerous. Therefore, you must order expensive taxis. I would have expected the hotel to provide a free shuttle, at least to nearby restaurants (a 5- to 20-minute drive). Also, the mosquito nets are a joke. Instead of standard 4- or 5-star hotel mosquito canopies, you get a cage-like tent on top of your bed that is hard to get in and out of. Overall, this is not the 5-star hotel experience you would expect in Bali.
