Paradise

Stunning location. Perfect escape from hustle of the south. Local warungs in walking distance serving delicious food. The road didn't encourage heavy traffic, so suited easy roadside walking. Quite a distance from the centre of Amed, there's little of the tourist noise of spas, shops and so on. The views from the villa are enviable and we delighted watching the boats sailing off the coast

There are a lot of stairs and no railing. While there was a path to the cliff stair case, it didn't start at the villa. You needed to go back up stairs and go down the neighbouring path or cross through the garden. Neither good choices for my aching knee.

+ Location with sea view + friendly staff + quiet + private Pool + breakfast on private terrace

- it was possible to look from the parking area directly into our shower (we took a photo of my partner waving from the parking area, which I’ll upload). They assured us nobody will look, but we still felt it was weird. - some things were not well maintained: toilet was discolored and shaking when sitting down, Hand shower was hard to control (since it was a bit loose) - the hot water could have lasted longer, we really hurried up while having the shower and still the second person got very fast only cold water - tv (the device itself) wasn’t there

Beautiful villa in lovely surroundings - quiet - overlooking the ocean

These are beautiful, clean villas with private pools and views of the ocean. There is an air conditioner in both the bedroom and the livingroom, and ceiling fans outside on the balcony. Air con was quiet and efficient. Location was beautiful. Rooms were large, bed very comfortable. Quiet, serene location. Lovely pool. Hosts went above and beyond when my flight was cancelled from Manilla to Bali and allowed me to stay late the second day, as I missed my first day there. They arranged transport for me to the villa. Sura welcomed me and cooked me meals (order from menu - good prices (approx 65,000 per main meal), pancakes were great, and fruit juices fresh and cool, made ready for me at time of my choosing and brought to villa. Allen the owner was very good at communicating with me - esp when my plans were messed up by volcano in Manilla. I could have stayed there so much longer, if I get to come back to Bali I would definatetly book again and stay for a week.

Only thing that could have been better would have been to have more time to stay there!

Perfekte Villa mit atemberaubender Aussicht aufs Meer!

Zunächst möchte ich die äußerst unkomplizierte Kommunikation im Vorfeld loben. Antworten auf Fragen kamen immer prompt. Auch wurden vor Anreise viele Informationen zum Aufenthalt gegeben. Bei Ankunft wurden wir bereits von unserer reizenden Housekeeperin Omy empfangen (Omy: wir hoffen, du hattest eine wunderschöne Hochzeit!). Nach Rundgang durch die wirklich großzügigen Räumlichkeiten (riesiger Balkon mit Meerblick und Sofa/Ess-Bereich, Wohnzimmer mit integrierter Küchenzeile, Smart TV, Schlafzimmer mit Moskitonetz-Baldachin, Außenbadezimmer mit Dusche, separates WC, eigener Pool mit üppig tropischer Einfassung und natürlich Meerblick!, Deckchairs mit Sonnenschirm) konnten wir bereits unser Frühstück für den kommenden Tag aussuchen (klassische Auswahl mit Kaffee oder Tee, Fruchtsalat oder Fruit juice, verschiedene Eier-Varianten). Omy ist dann zur verabredeten Zeit vorbeigekommen, um uns das Frühstück frisch zuzubereiten. Selten ein so gutes Omelett gegessen. Toller Service! Die Gartenanlage ist mega-gepflegt und wunderschön angelegt. Die Gärtner sind immer schon um kurz nach 6 Uhr morgens da und bringen alles wieder in Ordnung. Viele duftende Frangipani-Bäume mit unterschiedlichen Blütenfarben auf dem Grundstück. Hinter einem Tor gehen ungesicherte Treppenstufen bis zum Meer hinunter (Achtung: slippery when wet). Glasklares Wasser! Dort könnte man auch ins Meer springen und schnorcheln, allerdings könnte es je nach Wellengang und persönlicher Konstitution extrem schwierig sein, wieder auf die Plattform zu gelangen. Außerdem starke Strömung. Kurz nach Sonnenaufgang kommen die Fischerboote zurück und segeln direkt vor der Haustür vorbei. Ein wunderschönes Bild. Sehr zu empfehlen sind auch die Massagen in den Aquamarine Beach Villas direkt am Ibus Beach (mit Beach-Bar). Dort kann man auch wunderbar schnorcheln: Aquarium!!!! Außerdem wenig Verkehr vor Ort, so dass man ohne das Gefühl, jeden Moment umgefahren zu werden, an der Straße entlang wandern kann.

Zum Lesen war das Licht leider etwas spärlich. Außerdem hat gefühlt das ganze Bett gewackelt, wenn sich jemand umgedreht hat. Ich bin da sehr empfindlich, anderen mag das egal sein. Die Gegend ist kein touristischer Hotspot, was aber überhaupt nicht schlimm ist, wenn man genau das sucht. Es gibt trotzdem auch gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Absolute Empfehlung: die Trattoria!!! Megaleckerer Italiener!
