We stayed in Villa number 1 on the ground floor and it was fabulous. The villa overlooked the ocean and we woke up to stunning daily sunrises and the traditional fishing boats dotted along the horizon. The serenity of this place is a big part of its magic. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything you needed was supplied. Made went out of his way to ensure we had an enjoyable time. The pool and grounds are well kept and enhance the relaxing vibe that one experiences while here. Although the villa is in a secluded village area and we didn’t ride a motor bike we found a traditional market close by where we could buy whatever we needed. There is a restaurant onsite that provides delicious meals and another restaurant & Warung close by. The beach is very rocky and not easily accessed although some people did snorkel in the area.

The fact that you cannot pay by card and must pay in rupiah is inconvenient in this day and age. Access to money changes and ATMs is almost impossible in this area without transport so make sure you have cash on you.

Delicious breakfast, the pancakes 😋 the view incredible everyone was so nice! Definitely will be back.

The staff are always happy to help! They recommend a local fishing charter as I was on my own, I caught 14 fish and they even cooked the fish for me. Love this!

We stayed here in July 2025. Wi-Fi was free. The place seems more suitable for meditation or relaxation. The rooms were clean, with water, coffee, and tea provided. The outdoor bed was a pleasant touch. In the evening, it gets dark early, and the lighting in the room is quite dim. We had breakfast included and also purchased dinner. The accommodation does not accept credit cards. Site staff were friendly and trying to help. At night, it was very quiet—only the geckos could be heard. It’s important to use mosquito repellent spray. Beds were comfortable.

This location is not really ideal for staying with children if you're planning to spend time on the beach. The pool was great—we hardly left it. It’s also a good base for trips around the area. There is definitely no beach in front of the hotel suitable for children, and you won’t be lying on the sand here. The area is filled with fishing boats and trash left by fishermen. The boats are parked on lava rocks.
