Gurko Hotel is a really special place. The building is traditional and photogenic from any angle. We had a huge, beautifully decorated room, with a full length balcony overlooking the iconic Veliko Turnovo view. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious (and huge - dishes kept coming!). A gem of a hotel.

What an absolute gem of a hotel. I went in the winter when the city was quiet, and it was the perfect home base. Comfortable, cozy, and with an amazing view. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Not to mention, the restaurant is an absolute 10/10
