One of the worst hotels ever!!!

The guy from the reception who checked me in on August the 8th at 1 PM should be fired. I asked him for a quiet room because we were exhausted. I asked not to have anyone above me as I'm sensitive to noise. He looked at me like I was crazy and then he tried to explain things that didn't make sense to me. Apparently he had no idea what he was talking about. Then he called a colleague to check if the room is ready and they started making rude comments about me. I understand Bulgarian so I knew what he was saying. He then gave me a room which was the noisiest ever. He put me in room 505 which is underneath the restaurant and close to the elevator and the reception. I didn't have not even 5 minutes of quiet time. Non stop foot steps, chairs moved around, loud banging etc...It stopped around 1 o'clock and started again at 4 AM. Thanks to this incompetent person, I barely had any sleep. I was already tired when I came to this hotel. When I checked in, there were a lot of hairs under the bathroom sink and the towels had spots and hairs on them. I went to the reception and there was no one there. The guy disappeared. Another man showed up later and completely ignored me. He was pretending to not understand English. I also worked and the internet was terrible. I had to use my mobile data. Thank you for that!!! No kettle in the room, no basic stuff...all these for 70 euros? I stayed in 2 stars hotels and they had better conditions. These hotel is the worst ever!

Perfectly located Panorama hotel

1. The room was on floor -5 (MINUS 5!), but it still had a nice city view, as the hotel is located on a high cliff 2. The restaurant is locate on floor -2 (and it has the best view), so better choose rooms on floors -2, -3 3. The breakfast was quite ok 4. There are several parking spaces near the hotel. If you will be lucky enough to get one 5. The location is perfect

Location was nice, bath was great too! Balcony was a bit small, but that's fine as well. Breakfast was okay as well. Staff was pretty friendly and they had English speakers and menus!

Very comfortable centrally located hotel with a stunning view

We enjoyed our stay at Panorama hotel very much. The hotel is centrally located, close to all sites. It has a stunning view and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We booked a suite and even the bathroom had a view. The restaurant also has a view. The staff is very helpful. When we arrived, the restaurant served us lunch, even though it was late in the day. The lady at the reception, Tsvetomira Yordanova, was particularly helpful. She gave us a great recommendations, including for a very nice local restaurant and went out of her way to accommodate our friend’s request for some additional items in the room. The hotel has 8 parking slots in front, which is a big plus for that area of Veliko Turnovo. It is also pet-friendly. Our small dog, Finn, was able to stay with us. We will return to this hotel again.

Great

I really liked the location, it was on the main street, it had a beautiful view and it was close to most shops. The room was clean and comfortable and it had a big bath tub which I liked especially. The hotel has a restaurant and a swimming pool which I didn't get to but I would love to try them when I'll visit Veliko Tarnovo again.

We liked the location as it was central and also that we could park the car in front of the hotel and also a lot of goods restaurant were very close. The pool was a plus but it needed renovation because of the old walls.

The breakfast was not of good quality and very poor with cheap products. The coffee was instant type and very bad at taste, so we needed to pay extra for a coffee from beans. In the room, it was not clean. The bathroom was not functioning well because of the water flowing everywhere on the floor after we had a bath. The heating system made a lot of noise, we could not sleep and we could not stop it because it got cold fast. The entire hotel needs renovation because it looks old.
