Gurko 7 Heritage House - Old Town, Private Parking

Great communication with management, clean, great location, parking in front, next door to small local restaurant, on a beautiful street, unique home, equipped kitchen, washer/dryer. We would stay again.

Be aware that the roof is low downstairs in a couple places, so mind your head. It was not a problem for us!

Gurko 7 Heritage House is an exceptional place to stay in Veliko Tarnovo, especially for families. It is located right at the edge of the Old Town, which means you do not need to drive too far along the narrow cobblestone streets. A reserved parking space directly in front of the house is another major advantage. The house itself is very spacious (two floors) and comfortable, with plenty of room for a family. We especially enjoyed the view over the charming Old Town street. The interior is beautifully decorated in a traditional style, with lovely flowers throughout the property. It genuinely feels like staying in a medieval house, while still having all the modern amenities you need. I can highly recommend Gurko 7 Heritage House. It was the best accommodation of our two-week road trip around Bulgaria.

We loved the fact that it was a traditional house in an old street that had been updated with a modern kitchen ( with ample dishes, plates, bowls and pans) and bathroom while leaving 2 interesting light spaces upstairs apart from the bedrooms. We also very much enjoyed sitting on the bench outside the front door watching locals, tourists and cats pass by. The parking spot outside the house was essential. But the highest praise goes to Rosina ( Rossie) who greeted us warmly on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed,and was a fount of information. She also came to the house as we left ( by agreement). The personal touch is so important
