Nice, I will book again next time.

Good for money. Not luxury hotel but clean, situated near the centre, friendly staff, equipped with a lot of things for 2 stars hotel. We booked a room with fortress view and was quite room, located at second floor and equipped with TV, AC, boiler, mini-fridge and nice balcony. The breakfast was included. The staff is ok, one of the lady can speak poorly RO language but you can understand in English. The hotel has also parking over the street (red building) - private, one place for each room. So, as a conclusion, we can recommend for the people not so pretentious and who came for visiting the city the whole day - best for the paid amount. (and let's be serious - you should stay in the hotel only during the night for sleeping - during the day you should visit this very nice city)

You cannot pay with the card - only cash in BGN (so you should exchange in the city)- not specified. Also small deficiencies in the room - shower support broken, part of the cover of the terrace too low - but this is how the building was done, parking location not known as the hotel did not describe on the internet how to find it and you cannot park in front of the hotel or nearby, the breakfast is not diversified and the place for breakfast too small - sometimes, in a crowded period there are no places available.

Fantastic view of the fortress.

The view of the Tsarevets fortress from the balcony of our room was fantastic.

Surprisingly, for a hotel in one of the more touristic cities of Bulgaria, they only accepted payment in cash.

The room towards the valley has nice views; private parking 100 m distance from the hotel.

The rooms towards the street are very noisy; the hotel is located in the old town but it is surrounded by deserted properties; outdated room, could be cleaner; unconfortable matress/pillows; the breakfest is basic, limited, cheap products/ingredients; can't pay by card. In the photos it looks better than in the reality.

Ok, location good but let down on other things

Location good, nice and central for old town. Balcony view was a nice bonus too

Parking was not available, sent to a place over the road that was full. That said we found parking on street nearby easy enough. Also was told I had to pay in cash which I didn’t see on booking.com or wasn’t mentioned. It’s poor as it means hunting a cash machine down when the whole point is to pay via the app. Breakfast was also chaotic

The location and the parking are a plus.

The family suite was advertised as having two separate bedrooms. In reality, it was one bedroom with a makeshift sleeping area in the entrance. If the listing had accurate photos showing this, I would have booked two separate rooms instead.

Stunning location with fantastic views. Hotel finished to a high standard and very clean. Comfy beds. Staff helpful and friendly....with translators in their phones 😊

the breakfast consisted only bread with butter, cheese and sausage on top and for dessert a slice of cake. to drink, only a cup of coffee.

- location is excellent near the city center. - room is very well heated during winter, with central heating and floor heating. This is an important advantage in Veliko Tarnovo where most heating is made with aircon. - free parking in a nearby yard/garage which is closed during the night. - superb view over the old fortress , the river and the hills surrounding the city. Big window and balcony for the view - room is basic but very clean, beds are confy. - good value for money

- breakfast is very basic and you can't choose. To be fair, at this price I didn't expect any breakfast, so take it as a bonus.

Breakfast was not ok at all, a sandwich made by them with margarine, cheese (a small triangle) and old ham (sticky with the taste of exhalation), I couldn't eat something like that. The payment for accommodation can only be made in cash

the breakfast wasn’t breakfast.. it’s better to take it out. In the room was a strange smelling, I think it wasn’t airy/ well ventilated, and it’s not soundproofing at all, we could hear every car and train.

Superb view and comfort

Exceptional view over Veliko panorama and fortresses. Very cosy wide room with wide windows and a balcony. Perfectly clean and equipped with wide tv, good internet and climatic. Nice welcome and helpful people.
