Hidden gem at the heart of Veliko Tarnovo

The hotel is a hidden gem at the main shopping street of Veliko Tarnovo- 2 minutes from the Central Post Office and the Old Town. It is clean and comfortable with a lovely garden at the back yard. Free parking is available for the weekends (Saturday- Sunday). It will be always our first choice should we visit the town again.

The hotel is ideally located, offering easy and convenient access to various attractions. The ambiance is both beautiful and calming, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the stay. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and attentive. The owner was exceptionally warm and supportive, going above and beyond to accommodate different needs and requests. Her personal care made the experience feel more like a home than a hotel. I am truly grateful to her and to the entire team for their thoughtful service and seamless support. Overall, it was a highly enjoyable and memorable stay, thanks to the excellent location, the inviting atmosphere, and the outstanding hospitality.

Questionable entrance, lovely 4th floor, questionable locking, great location.

The hidden garden of the 4th floor. There was a fountain and several tables and seats around it. It was a lovely thing. The beds were comfortable, there was a kettle, TV, desk, bathroom, soap, a packet for showering, good position of light switches, hangers. If you don't mind the stairs, nor the questionable looks of the first and second floor, nor the fact that the key turns only once to lock and unlock - this is a pretty neat place close to good restaurants and the bus stop to go to the Veliko Tarnovo railway and other destinations. To be honest, if i heal my knees (previous problems, not from the stay) - i would come back and make use of the 4th floor to drink tea and snack, or maybe bring dinner to eat there.

I didn't expect so many stairs. To be honest, this is on me, as the booking probably mentioned it didn't have an elevator. My room was on 5th floor. The most shocking was the entrance. It felt shady and questionable. I am not sure if i would have been brave enough to enter if I was alone. Maybe if it had more light - it would be better. The reception is on the second floor and is dim and questionable as well. It starts looking proper from the third floor upwards. Later, i noticed that they tried to make the entrance ancient-themed, which is yellow-gray with darker spots here and there - making it look a bit dirty if you haven't noticed the theme.

A great way to experience Valiko

The host is very helpful and oriented us quickly. The view is great. The bed and pillows were perfect! The best we have experienced. Plenty of hot water. There was a very good restaurant across the street.

It is a bit small, especially the bathroom. Be prepared to get exercise going up the stairs. In our case we enjoy the exercise.

Was a short trip, but we felt very good. Good location, in center, clean, very nice stuff.

The property is very big, have a garden in the midlle and our room was a bit far from reception, so if u need something, u walk a bit more. U need to take coffee, or water, or whatever u need in the room, because u dont have nothing in the fridge. Litlle bathroom.
