A problem if you have a car.

The location was good. It was quiet and within easy walking distance to the lovely old town. The manager of the property, Ivan, was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. He gave us a partial refund because of the damage to the car.

Our main negative issue was with the parking. The property was advertised as having parking. Residents of the apartment block spray painted our car and called the police despite the fact we parked where we were told. There appears to be an issue among some residents with short term stays.

Bathroom not ok but response from the host was appalling - wouldn’t recommend on this basis

The apartment was hard to find as it doesn’t come up in google maps and the transfer company struggled to find it, however the host did come to meet us and let us check in early which was appreciated. The living room area and kitchen were fresh and modern and clean and the whole apartment was a good size and was in a good location.

When we first arrived the host was friendly and gave us his number if we had any questions, I hadn’t realised we would need to pay in cash but they said they’d come back to collect the money and this was no problem. We were told that we needed to leave a switch on outside the bathroom for hot water but it didn’t seem to be working so we left it a while to heat up but nothing happened so we couldn’t shower on our first night, we didn’t want to wait around as we were there for a short time. When it still wasn’t working the next morning we told the host and they sent the owner round to have a look while we were out. The “solution” was to put a small piece of wood into the switch which didn’t feel safe in order for it to stay up - this did at least give us warm water. The bathroom was pretty grim and dirty in places but again due to the short time we were there and the fact that I had booked it for our friends birthday as a surprise I didn’t want to make a fuss and would inform the host when they can to collect the money. They were not able to come round again so sent someone else so on the Sunday I did ask them via WhatsApp if it was possible to have a reduction in price due to not being able to shower and the dirty bathroom. They said no it wasn’t possible so we paid the person in cash they sent round. I did explain to them via WhatsApp which wasn’t my preference I would have preferred to speak to them in person that the bathroom really wasn’t acceptable and I would be informing booking.com the messages I received back were the rudest I’ve ever received from a host, accusing me of blackmailing them and they’d speak to booking.com about me “they know guests like me” I still have the messages as proof. I explained I didn’t appreciate the implication of blackmail as we had paid and wasn’t the case at all and I said I thought as a host they would want to know the feedback. The messages were hugely unprofessional and really ruined our last night there.

Superb

The apartment was very nice and comfortable.

The payment was tricky and the host came to collect the money at 11 pm while we had dinner in the old town, which was uncomfortable, but they are helpful and very kind. I would suggest giving an exact appointment in advance when they want to collect it and everybody will be prepared.

Just close enough and just far enough away…

Ideal location: close to the busy old town of Kotor, but just removed enough from the bustle. Near supermarkets and shops, walking distance from everywhere. Two bedrooms meant the teens had their own room. Comfortable furniture. Responsive host (through messages) to answer household questions.

All good. A/C saved us on historically hot days!

The host was very kind and helpful. Thank you Ivan ! Good location - about 5 min walk to the old city, 2 min to a supermarket and a shopping center. The apartment was clean, quiet, quite large, well equipped, and very comfortable. Good WiFi connection.

There is no private parking to the apartment – there are some free parking of the building, but they are not always available, and it seems like the neighbors don't like tourists to park there. However, most of the times we have found parking after few minutes. Air condition – There is good A/C in the living room, but not in the bedrooms. But these are minor issues, we enjoyed our stay there.

Skvělé a prostorné ubytování

Velmi prostorné a dobře vybavené ubytování poblíž pláže a starého centra města. Dostatek místa, terasa, velký jídelní stůl i vybavená kuchyně a koupelna. Komunikace s majitelem byla velmi rychlá, předání klíčů bezproblémové díky schránce u dveří a celkově nemám moc co vytknout. Pěkný výhled na hory, blízko obchodní centrum i samostatné pekárny. Určitě lze doporučit.

Mám pocit, že v kuchyni chyběly nějaké útěrky a měli jsme problém s teplou vodou, možná jsme ale jen omylem první den vypnuli bojler.

Ruim appartement met mooie locatie

Groot appartement en de locatie is top, tussen het oude centrum van Kotor en Dobrota in. Ook is er parkeergelegenheid voor het appartement. Er zit een winkelcentrum om de hoek dus dat is erg makkelijk.

Badkamer is een beetje gedateerd en was niet schoongemaakt. De deuren van de slaapkamer blijven niet dicht (valt steeds open) dus je moet zorgen dat de rolgordijnen in de woonkamer dicht zijn anders wordt het vroeg licht.
