Nice place to stay, a short distance from one of the entrances to Kotor Old Town.

They provided an earlier than scheduled breakfast for us because we had to catch an early bus to Dubrovnik.

Excellent stay overlooking the mountains.We had excellent timing in this hotel as well as Kotor as a whole.All amenities were good and you can walk from bus station approximately 950 metres.Mall with super market and food court is just infront of the hotel.Also excellent bakeries near by.

Great to have on-site parking (EUR15 per day). Just outside old town walls but close to fort climb entrance. Staff very helpful. Breakfast simple but very good

Great hotel and location

Lovely, spacious room with comfortable bed, seating and kitchenette plus a large balcony. Helpful reception. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Located beside (not within) city walls, the harbour, bus route, supermarkets and shopping mall -all easy to access.

Very pleasant

Excellent location. Lovely room. My only complaint is that on Booking.com it was in the free parking section and actually the parking on site cost an extra €15 so you could in fact add that to the price of the room.

Great location heart of Kotor

Super location. 2 minutes walk to old town Kotor, Cruise port, beaches, starting point of Kotor Fortress. Mall/Hypermarket just opp. Car Parking provided with a small fee. Staff were very nice and rooms were very clean. Super view from hotel balcony can see entire fortress, old town, church and Cruise ship. Photos from the balcony

Absolutely wonderful time.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the hotel nestled in the beautiful mountains and close to the beach. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The location is simply perfect—peaceful, scenic, and yet in the centre of the town surrounded by its attractions. One of the highlights of our stay was the speedboat cruise, organized through the hotel. It was an unforgettable experience—cruising along the crystal-clear waters, discovering hidden coves, swimming in the Blue Cave, and more others. 💙

Amazing staff, great location and very tidy room!

The room was really tidy, Wifi and aircon were superb! The staff were friendly and kind. They replaced my towels and cleaned my room each day, without me even asking which was extremely kind. The location of this hotel is amazing, minutes walk away from Kotor town, Kotor beach, bus terminal and there's also shortcuts from the hotel to the Old Walls.

It would have been nice to have more fresh fruits such as berries for breakfast. Some Greek yogurt or more fresh options would have been ideal, however this is just a personal preference.

We had an amazing stay here! The owner is absolutely lovely — always cheerful, helpful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. We stayed in an apartment on a top floor, and it was clean, really spacious, and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was also fantastic — everything was fresh and delicious. The location is perfect — close to the center (just few minutes away from the old town)

An unforgettable experience at the hotel

A fantastic hotel that exceeded all my expectations. Close to the Old Town and all other tourist attractions, yet secluded and quiet. Very friendly staff, the receptionist is always smiling and helpful, the owner is ready to talk and help. The hotel and rooms are very clean and the breakfast is quite decent. Recommendation to everyone who wants to have top service accommodation in this wonderful city.

Pleasant staff who allowed us to check in early as the room was ready. Very close to old town centre and shopping mall a few yards away which had better value eateries, some tables having a partial view of the bay.

Home away from home.

We have the Deluxe Apartment which is highly recommended. It’s very spacious and comfortable with the view of the old town and mountains. It’s very quiet at night and we could sleep very well. The pillows are comfortable. The old town is 5 minutes away walking. There is a shopping mall across the street from the hotel. There are bakeries and restaurants nearby. The speed boat harbor to Perast, a very beautiful small town in the bay of Kotor, is also nearby with 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The staff is very friendly. Good breakfast to start the day. The staff takes us to Tivat airport, which is close by Kotor. We highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful location, excellent rooms, friendly staff.

A wonderfully located hotel very close to the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms a delightful surprise. Very large, well decorated, comfortable, and I had a balcony. Put all of that together and this was an absolutely wonderful stay, and if coming back to Kotor I would definitely try to stay here again. I was genuinely quite sad when it was time to check out!

There wasn't anything I didn't like about this hotel. I suppose the breakfast wasn't a massive spread but it ticked the box for me.

Perfect place to stay in Kotor

A great welcome from the hotel. Staff was so friendly and helpful. I would like to thank to the receptionist gentleman. Hotel is also awesome, so close the old town but very quiet and away from the car noise. There’s also a car park belongs to the hotel which is a life saver when the city is crowded.

Wonderful room, great location, lovely staff

We absolutely LOVED this one-night stay! The weather was awful on our day of check in, and they messaged to say we could have our room any time which made an enormous difference to us (the rain was too heavy for wandering around Kotor!). I hadn't realised we needed to reserve parking but the receptionist was lovely about it, sorting out a spot and helping us manoeuvre into it (not as easy as it sounds!). Breakfast was delicious, it was lovely to have a lounge area separate from the bedroom and we enjoyed some hot drinks while our clothes and coats dried off...we would normally have a double bed but I must have forgotten to specify that, however even being in two single beds didn't affect our enjoyment of this wonderful little hotel, which is right on the edge of the old town.

Ideal

Garni Hotel Tianis is a gem in a gem of a city, Kotor. The accommodations are fabulous, updated, upscale, and spacious. The staff are kind and helpful. It's a very short walk to Old Town, which is excellent. That is because Old Town, with all of its charm, can get very crowded, and loud with bars playing music and people gathering outside at all hours and late at night -- which is itself a wonderful social environment but can make it difficult to get peace and quiet, especially for sleep! Garni Hotel Tianis, being just outside the Old Town's walls, is nice and restful. The breakfast is delicious and varied, with a wide selection of fresh foods. All in all, you will enjoy staying here.
