Functional apartment in great location with free parking

The location of Ana Apartments cannot be beaten - about a 3 minute walk to Kotor Old Town. If you have a car parking is horrendously difficult in Kotor generally so the free parking is a wonderful faciltiy. The road congestion around Kotor is dreadful so it was a relief to arrive and park and then go everywhere on foot. Nikola was friendly and helpful on arrival and the compact apartment (ours was up a flight of stairs) is clean. The weather was cool and rainy during our stay so it was good to be able to heat the apartment. The apartment is simply furnished but good value given the price point.

Small bedroom with the bed against a wall and a tiny low beside table. The seating in the living room is a bit tired and could do with an update. The apartment is basic and ok for a day or two but it's the location and parking that elevates this accommodation's rating.

Cozy stay at Apartments Ana

The flat has a good location, very close to the Old Town. The air con worked well. Flat is cozy but has most kitchen items needed for a short stay. Host was very helpful, meeting us with the keys even though our bus was late. He also very kindly let us store our bags for a little on the final day, as our bus didn't leave until a little later.

The instructions were not very clear on how to find the property, they directed you to a shop further up to the road. The keys to the main entrance to the building were not provided and the door was left open all the time, you were only given a key to the rooms, which didn't feel very secure. There was also a gap under the door which seemed to let in some mosquitoes, would advise putting some covering at the bottom of the door.

The hosts were very kind and friendly. They thought every single detail in the house. They gave us very useful suggestions about the activities in the city.

Amazing host and perfect location.

Our hosts were incredible. He met us there (was waiting for us), got us into the apartment, learned more about our plans, and gave great advice to match out needs. He was a super host in my opinion. The location of the apartment was spectacular. Just steps from the gates, cafe's, and two markets. Not to mention, we had private parking and an outside patio reserved for us which was a huge benefit.

The AC unit worked great in the kitchen and main living space, but sadly, the rooms were hot all night. It is important to note that the weather was abnormally hot for that time of year (we were 100+) so in regular seasoned weather maybe this wouldn't be an issue.

Wonderful hosts, perfect location, and great value – highly recommended!

The hosts were absolutely fantastic – warm, helpful, and genuinely caring. The location is brilliant, just a short walk from the old town of Kotor. The apartment had everything we needed and offered great value for the price.

Nothing really negative – just to be clear: if you're expecting a high-end, 5-star luxury apartment, this isn’t that. But for the price, it exceeded expectations.

Start of a family vacation

Good Location and Excellent Hosts

The hosts, Nikola and his mum were both helpful and lovely. The thick stone walls and air conditioning was welcome in the extreme heat. The bed was comfortable too. Nikola arranged our taxi to the airport.

There was only one knife in the cutlery drawer. Other than that no complaints.

Excellent location in close proximity to the old town north gate. Very good views of Kotor fortress and surrounding mountain ranges. Nikola and his family were very accommodating, and easy to communicate with. The room itself was perfectly sized for 2 people, and well equipped.

Lovely place for a few days in the area

Nikola met us to show where to park and then showed us the apartment as well as providing suggestions for things to do and places to eat - much appreciated. We had an early tour on our checkout day and Nikola was very flexible in allowing us to leave our car parked until we returned after noon. Thank you

Our favourite accommodation in Montenegro.

Apartment Ana is a beautiful apartment close to the north gate of the fort. The apartment is very spacious, clean and has great cooking facilities. It is so close to the Ladder of Kotor walking trail, restaurants, supermarket and bakeries. We would definitely stay again.

Unbeatable location and very warm and friendly host

We had a really nice stay in Kotor. Nikola, the host, met us at the front door, helped us with our luggage, and showed us the parking spot for our car around to the back. He was very kind and had really great recommendations for places to eat in town -- every single place he told us about was excellent. He also recommended a tour company for a boat cruise on the bay with someone he knows. The apartment itself has an excellent location -- it's the main reason we opted for this particular place. It was very handy to walk a few minutes and be right in the old city but with the ease of being just a little distant from the main tourist crowds and with free, secure parking to boot. The apartment has a little kitchenette, which we didn't really use, but appreciated having a refrigerator and counter space. Fast wifi

It was not an issue for us, but the apartment does require going up stairs so this is not accessible for someone who is mobility impaired. The apartment is also quite cozy, especially in the bedroom and bathroom -- fine for two people with moderate quantities of luggage, but it could be a tight fit otherwise. There is an A/C unit in the living room area, which keeps the entire space at a good temperature, but it means that there is limited options for air movement in the bedroom itself (which we managed with an open window, but that may not be as convenient depending on outside conditions).

Apartment size was good..with a separate room and kitchen. location was the best. 5 min walk to old walled town. 5mins to the shopping center. quiet location and private parking available.

Beautiful 😍

Fabulous location and great service at the property. Nice a quiet at night but on the doorstep of the old town and a short walk to Kotor beach. Stayed 27 April until 1 May and it was warm enough for a quick swim and it was beautifully warm in the sun. Love Kotor.

The outside space could do with a tidy up, it has potential to be a beautiful courtyard. We had breakfast and evening drinks out there.

Great location right by the North Gate of Old Town but without the hustle and bustle of staying in the Old Town. Host was incredible helpful and had great communication. The accomodation itself was perfect for what I was after, extremely clean and comfortable.

I stayed for three nights which was a good amount of time for the space, if I was doing longer I would perhaps have liked a bit more living room space (however this didn’t impact my stay!).

Very good, would recommend!

Very beautiful and clean apartment with a small nice terrace. It's located just next to the entrance of the old town. Also near to shops, bakkery and beach. Friendly welcome and info from the host. Parking spot right in front of the house. It's public parking so it might be you don't have a spot right away. The host moved their own car for us to have a better spot. Payment via credit card, comes in very handy.

The traffic in and around town is very chaotic. But even though the apartment is near to everything, it's still no problem to reach by car.

Perfect location and free parking!

Absolutely as advertised, beautiful apartment with a full kitchen located just steps to the Old Town. The free parking space was right outside the door. Spotlessly clean and so charming with the exposed stone walls. Fairly easy to find- it was a little further down the street than google maps showed it but we had no issues finding it and checking in. Highly recommend!

great pick if you have a car. it’s right outside of old town, less than 3 min walk. we had free parking right outside of the property. staff were very kind.

To a high standard

The location is excellent - just outside the city walls and at the foot of the Ladder of Kotor, right next to a bakery and a short walk from the shopping centre. The apartments are beautiful, characterful, clean and well-maintained. The aircon works a treat. The host, Nikola (the son of the eponymous Ana) was excellent, helpful yet unobtrusive as was needed. We would not hesitate to stay again - it set a very standard.

It's hard to think of what would have improved our stay. We really liked it here.

Very comfortable apartment located in an old building. The building was amazingly keeping coolness when it was very hot outside, we almost didn't use air-conditioner). Very nice and helpful owners Ana and Nikola. Ana treated us to delicius local deserts, Nikola helped to rent a car and boat at good price and condition. Many thanks to them! Great location: 200 meters from the old city gates, close to the Kotor beach, shops, restaurants, etc.
