Vila Lancana

The location is right inside the entrance to the old town, so everything is within a 5-minute walk. All the bars and restaurants are on your doorstep, and there is a kitten park 30 seconds away where little kittens come and sit on your lap and fall asleep. I usually had two or three on my lap for an hour; my daughter had 6 on her at one point. So great for kids. There were a couple of issues regarding kitchen utensils and the washing machine, but the host sorted out all the issues immediately. We were very impressed with the prompt response to any issues we had. There are two supermarkets and a bakery within a 3-minute walk, and the beach is a 5 minute walk.

The only negative is that the accommodation is so central that you can hear music until 1am every night. If you are the sort of person who plans to be at one of bars until 1am, then this will not be an issue for you. Even though I was with kids and was therefore not at the bars until 1am, I would still probably stay here again because of the proximity to the kitten park and the helpfulness of the hosts.

Onze host Marta was een superhost en heeft ons zeer goed en snel geholpen om de accommodatie te vinden, uitstekend gelegen in de schitterende binnenstad van Kotor in een wirwar van leuke straatjes. Zij was ook heel flexibel wat betreft in- & uitchecken. Als we nog naar Kotor komen, komen we hier zeker terug

Excellent location and nice spacious apartment.

We were not given instructions to check in and ended up walking around for ages in the heat trying to find the apartment. There were a lot of slanted ceilings so if you are tall, this would be an issues - the shower was under a slanted ceiling and I kept hitting my head.
