Cozy old town apartment with a terrace on city wall

Great location inside the old town, close to the main gates and within walking distance from the bus station. There’s also a supermarket nearby. The owners are very nice and helpful. The apartment is cozy, set in a historic building, with a private terrace right on the city wall — it’s a great spot to enjoy coffee and watch tourists passing by. The kitchen is fully equipped, with coffee and tea provided. The bathroom is very clean and looks new. It also has a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, AC, and other useful appliances.

It can get a bit noisy in the evening due to a nearby pub playing music until around 11 p.m., but after that, it’s quiet and peaceful.

Privacy and comfort in a perfect old town location

Spotlessly clean and comfortable apartment, very well equipped and in a perfect old town location. Lively street but a private oasis really and really quiet during sleeping hours. Great beds, hot shower, and a terrace on top of the city wall! Fluid and attentive communication with Marko, thank you 😊 Would love to return.

Brilliant stay

Brilliant stay. Great comms with Marko prior to arriving and he (and his mum) couldn't have been more helpful during our stay, easily accommodating our early arrival. Great location just inside old town and patio on walls was a great spot to chill. Apartment was very well set up, probably the best unit we have stayed in. Recommend bar about 50m along lane (Banderias?) for beers...service good and half the price of the one immediately opposite

Fantastic stay with Super Hosts right in the heart ❤️ of Kotor.

It was a home away from home. The location was walking distance to everything! A short walk from the ferry, bus station, Fortress hike, Bay, grocery store and Old Town . The hosts Marko and mother Branka, keep the apartment immaculate and were extremely kind and generous with their time to us. Nothing too much trouble and Marko helped us plan our activities. It was nice to be able to enjoy the town right at our doorstep and the relaxing private terrace with a view was a wonderful bonus .

Exquisite stay

This place is a real gem, and we loved staying there. Inside the old town walls Mark and his mother created a little heaven. We had everything, even a little garden which we had our breakfast and happy hour drinks, and a direct door to the old town walls overlooking the marina. When we wanted to have a dinner, all the restaurants were a walking distance. Everything was thought of, clean, new and tastefully decorated.

Great place to stay!

This is a beautiful well appointed apartment that feels like a home as soon as you first walk in. The location is superb. The hosts, Marko and his mother could not be nicer and they are quick to respond to any questions or requests. They live in the apartment below. Marko’s mom even arranged and walked us to a taxi to the airport. The refrigerator had a bottle of wine and some juice, etc… for us. Throw in your own private large terrace and you have just a great place to stay! Grab this one if it is available! Highly recommended.

Live the good life!

Marco & his mother are wonderful hosts, so kind and caring. Communication with Marco was excellent prior to arrival and during our stay. He helped with our luggage as the stairs to the apartment are quite steep. The apartment has everything you need, just like home. Location is great. Two steps from your private terrace, through a small gate, and you're on the old town wall at South Gate, overlooking the harbour and the mountains behind. Any queries or local knowledge and Marco was there to assist. Ever wondered what it must be like to live like a local in this sort of environment? This is the perfect place to find out. Live the good life!!

Apartment is in a great location beds are comfortable it was spotlessly clean and the couch was a great size for us to sit and chat over a glass of wine or two at thd dnd of a busy day out.

There was nothing to dislike but we would suggest maybe mirrors in the bedrooms on maybe wardrobe doors, we were four women and it would have helped with hair drying and make up options whilst the bathroom was being used at the same time as the one mirror near a socket in the living room. We managed but thought that would be a suggestion we’d make.

Cozy, clean and comfortable apartment that was an excellent base to explore Kotor old town and beyond

The location of the apartment was excellent, right in the old Kotor town with access to walk on the old town walls. It was also close to the south gate where it was easy to walk out to the Kotor town and not far from transport drop off and the main parking lot. It was spotless and clean. Marko was an excellent and very helpful host.

Perfect location, lovely hosts.

Everything was as described - amazing. Superb location by the Gurdic Gate with everything in the Old Town walkable, yet still quiet in the evenings. Bus station only a few mins walk too to access to day trips elsewhere. Marko was highly responsive in perfect English and his mother was always attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend staying here for any guests looking to stay in Kotor.

Cozy apartment. Great location.

A perfect location with a beautiful terrace overlooking the bay. A very well equipped, comfortable apartment. Marko's mother was a huge help to us, such a kind lady. Marko's communication is excellent. Bars and restaurants all around. Living within the town walls was a wonderful experience. 5 minute walk from the coach station. 3 minutes to a large supermarket.

An impeccable apartment in an amazing location

An impeccable apartment. A great location in the middle of the old town with a terrace right on the defensive wall. All points of interest can be reached in 15 minutes. Exceptional equipment. There is absolutely nothing missing from what you could have at home. There is the dedication of the owners and the desire to ensure the best living conditions. Kitchenware and crockery of the highest quality. However, it is advisable to eat some of the very good restaurants nearby. For daily supply, there is a supermarket 200m away. Marko and his mother are two very empathetic people. It seems that I put a lot of soul into what I do. We will return to this wonderful apartment.

Exceptional

There is a little terrace that connects to the city walls! So you can enjoy a fabulous view right from the apartment! The apartment is very clean, cool, and modern. Marko left a bottle of local wine for us! His mother and sister greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Also, there is a washing machine!

The location is absolutely amazing! Marlo and his mom were delightful - extremely kind and helpful! The apartment is well stocked- it was great being able to do laundry there and they even had laundry detergent. The bottle of wine in the fridge was so sweet! The little outdoor patio area is lovely and right on the wall.

Superb

This apartment fit our needs perfectly for this trip! The location was superb, living inside of the old town walls but still close enough to a gate as well as a grocery store and the bus station. The apartment had a lovely terrace that opened up to the wall and had a view towards the bay, recently renovated and clean. Marko and his family were exceptional hosts by giving good advice on things to do and helping with practical arrangements.

Superb

Great location inside the walls but close to the South Gate so it wasn't very far to walk from the street. There was free parking across the street from the gate, though you probably will have to wait for a space. Bedrooms are on the small side but understandable for the old town location. Nice sofa that's also a bed. Shared outdoor terrace that's right on the top of the wall but no one else used it at the times we did. Nice large bathroom. Kotor old town is very interesting and bigger than we thought. We only stayed one night but I would spend at least two nights if I had it to do over again.

Only one flight of stairs up to the apartment but the stairs are a steep pitch, but it's common for an old town location. No coffee making options except instant or Turkish. Only one air conditioner unit which is in the living room so you have to leave the bedroom doors open for cool air. It reached 93F during the day and it stayed a little warm in the bedrooms but tolerable. One in our party thought the twin bed mattress was too soft but no complaints from the other two of us.

Excellent location in the old town - spacious (more than enough) for a single traveller, well-equipped, private open-air sitting space right on the city wall!

WiFi access was sometimes intermittent in the evening, but always came back after a while - it may not be the fault of the property.

Attention to detail,position was excellent, walked out our door onto the medeviele wall and looked straight out onto the bay.Marko and his mother were so helpful in every way,from suggesting great restaurants to organising taxis,they carried our bags at 5am,beautiful people.

The apartment is very well located with a beautiful view from the private terrace that is located in the medieval wall of the city. All old Kotor is within walking distance of the apartment. The Wi-Fi was great. Kotor is a very nice city, very much worth a visit. The apartment has everything you need and is very comfortable.
