Great updated apartment, if you don't mind a bit of noise

We really enjoyed the apartment, it was very well updated and the location was great, just inside one of the gates.

The downside of the location is the noise and outside lights. If you see the clock tower in one of the photos, it's beautiful until you hear it several times an hour at night. The outside noise at 11, 12, and 1:00 am is a bit much. The apartment could use blackout blinds as the room does not get dark at night.

Amazing place . Very clean and smells so nice! The little details and furnishing are top notch.

We came almost midnight but the host is very accomodating and made sure we were looked after and able to come and rest after a long rather stressful flight and drive from Podgorica.

As this is literally at the prime location, can be noisy at night. Other than that, our stay has been wonderful! Thank you

Fantastic location

Location was right within the old town and our room had the perfect view of the clock tower which is right at the entrance into old town. Being in old town means early morning you can walk about without the crowds of tourists. Room was large and very comfortable. Upon arriving, we were shown our room and also had assistance to obtain a local sim card.

Not a dislike but those with big luggages, you need to carry those up the stairs to 2nd floor and down again. Good for working out those arm muscles.

Beautiful Appartment , everything was perfection.

Nothing to do with the property and it can’t be changed but the clock opposite struck every hour even throughout the night… it took time to get use to this.

The room was in a fantastic location and reasonably priced. The view from the window over the square was lovely. The bed was comfortable. Room was clean and serviced daily. The staff who checked us in were friendly and helpful. Would recommend Apartment Hun and would stay there again.

The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. When the room was serviced, the toilet paper was taken from the room and none was replaced.

Perfect stay! Would book again!

Perfect location. Cosy clean and spacious. We had a cute sitting area as well. Was just like the photos. Would definitely stay here again. Mortitz sorbet place downstairs is delish.

Same as others… no response to any messages on booking.com or whatsapp prior to the stay. But key pickup was actually easy and staff were helpful. Key pickup is in a shop called Forza Cattaro in the same square.

Perfect apartment in the heart of the old town. Super comfy bed, rituals cosmetics and really modern apartment. Ideal for a couple of nights in Kotor. We loved and would highly recommend.

In the heart of Kotor but, poor communication.

✅ Central location, in the heart of the old town right outside the clock tower. Everything is accessible you’re in the heart of Kotor. ✅ Very clean and modern rooms, great amenities and has that luxury feel. 🔶 It’s up a few flight of stairs, not an issue for me but thought I would flag for those who have accessibility issues or bringing a lot of luggage as there’s no lift.

❌ Very poor communication from the host, no info on check in. I messaged them on Booking and no response and had to WhatsApp them to get info. This has been flagged in a few reviews so I’m surprised they haven’t easily rectified. (You collect the keys from the Souvenir shop opposite on the left called Forza Cattarto FYI) ❌ not recommended if you’re a light sleeper. Quite noisy in the evenings due to the town. And the clock tower goes off every hour. Corridor you can hear the neighbours come and go.

Everything is wonderful

The location in the city center and the staff's attitude were amazing. If you are going without knowing anything, the room keys and the team are in the Forza gift shop. Thank you Miriana 🙂👍🏻

BEST place I stayed in the last ten stops on my Balkan tour

The people who host this property are the NICEST people in the whole world. I was a little confused because the cab driver left me off in front of old city (and I didnt realize that I had to walk 100 feet inside the gate). and then I didnt quite know where to pick up the keys, but that turned out to be SUPER easy also (the little shop JUST inside the gate). but the people were just so so nice (and i appreciate all of their help and guidance in so many ways). Truly. Especially coordinating a driver for me to Dubrovnik from Kotor

i had no problem carrying my suit case up the steps. But be forewarned if you have a BIG suitcase, that there is no elevator. And you may have to ask someone for help.

Excellent communication. Our host on arrival offered a warm friendly welcome, she was very helpful in assisting with trips and travel arrangements throughout. Great location. Very central. In a busy area but rooms sound proofed to mute the noise. Clean and high standard finishes. Would highly recommend.

No check instructions provided until we had arrived which was difficult as we had no service on our phones to access the bdc app. Stairs up to the apartment may be difficult if you have a lot of luggage, but as we were there for a short stay it was fine.

Good spot in Kotor but pity about the communication

Well appointed room with view

The little balcony with 2 chairs overlooking the Square shown in the picture on bookings com was not attached to the room. It was on the landing downstairs. It was not private and could have been used by any of the guests. There was no communication about check in arrangements or key collection .We messaged the owners several times in advance of our stay but got no reply. We were beginning to think it was all a scam. We rang the owner when we arrived and she came over from a shop across the road with keys. This arrangement could have been explained to us in advance so as to avoid causing us the stress.

Apartment Hun is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Kotor. Located right in the heart of Old Town, the accommodation offers stunning views of the main square and the iconic clock tower. The area is surrounded by a fantastic selection of shops, restaurants, and bars—perfect for those looking to enjoy fine dining or relax with a drink. The property is ideally situated just a short walk from the marina, where we enjoyed a memorable boat trip to the Blue Caves and other historical landmarks around Kotor. It’s also only about an 8-minute walk to the beachfront, which features lively beach bars and plenty of spots to soak up the sun. For added convenience, there’s a large shopping centre and grocery store nearby. Overall, Apartment Hun combines comfort, location, and charm—highly recommended for anyone visiting Kotor.

We had a great overall experience at the property. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and in a fantastic location. I would definitely return and recommend it to others visiting Kotor. That said, there were a couple of small issues worth mentioning—not to deter anyone from booking, but to help improve future guest experiences. Firstly, we didn’t receive any prior instructions on how to access the property, which led to some confusion on arrival. We spent around 20–30 minutes trying to contact the apartment staff before eventually being directed to meet someone at a small shop opposite the building. A simple pre-arrival message with clear check-in instructions would have saved us some stress and avoided needing to ask locals for help. Secondly, while we appreciated receiving fresh towels daily (especially with the hot weather and regular showers), many of the towels were stained or had holes in them. This didn’t spoil our stay, but it’s a small detail that could easily be improved with newer linens. Despite these minor hiccups, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

One of the best apartments I have ever stayed in! The interior was beautiful and everything is to a really high standard. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location is great, and has great views out to a square of the old town. The lady who checked us in was lovely and made us feel at home.

Lovely staff, beautiful apartment, just a few easy-to-make improvements needed

Very friendly staff who helped responded well to requests and made us feel welcome. The apartment was lovely, very clean and modern and in a brilliant location.

We were asked to lock the outer door to the apartments when leaving. This is fine, but a key was needed to open it from the inside; this is a worrying fire risk, someone could be locked inside during an emergency. Only one set of keys was provided for two, and the two keys were indistinguishable. Whilst the staff brought an iron and ironing board when asked, we were asked to leave this outside when we left for another room. It would be good to have them in all apartments; most travellers clothes are creased when arriving and they are relatively inexpensive, and there was room to store them.

Perfect stay

Beautiful little apartment! We arrived in Kotor a little earlier than expected and needed a place to change and get ready as we had a reservation at the beach club, the lovely owner greeted us in the shop where you get your key, reassured us she would help us find a place to freshen up and allowed us to ‘borrow’ the room until check in which we really really appreciated thank you! Can be a little noisy as it is right in the centre square but that’s to be expected with such a perfect location. Taxi rank nearby, PLENTY of restaurants, gorgeous shops and felt very safe. WiFi was fast, fresh towels every day and the bed was the comfiest I’ve ever had. We wish we could stay longer as this place really made our stay in Kotor! Thank you for having us❤️

Best spot in Kotor

Beautiful well furnished room with a huge bed and rainforest shower, the balcony was outside the room but had a great view over the busy main square. Staff were wonderful, they warned us that our first night would be noisy due to the carnival, but even when we went to sleep and they were still partying outside (carnival is no joke in Kotor), the old hardwood doors cut a lot of the sound out. The staff also found out that it was my birthday during the stay and they snuck some cakes in to celebrate. We loved it.

Exceptional room and location - 100% recommend

Room was exceptional - modern and in the best location in Kotor. Hosts couldn’t have been more helpful - they booked a taxi for us and helpfully had an office right by the apartment. The late check out time of 12 midday was great!
