The apartment was spotless and well provisioned, the beds were comfy and it was a good size including the bathroom. Nice touch to have water and juice for us. A heads up though you need to call to get in and my phone was on a purchased SIM so wouldn't make calls which was a bit of an issue. We did get through by using the booking.com messaging app (we did try whatsapp which only worked after the chap arrived)
Its very lively on a Fri night so bring ear plugs.

Location is good, right in the old town.
The owner is friendly.
If have hangers and an area for hanging towels and clothes in the washroom will be much better.

Perfect location to visit the old town. The apartment was perfectly clean and is very well decorated and furnished.

The apartment has been beautifully renovated and is lovely, as depicted in the photos. Bathrooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. The location near the north gate is extremely convenient, and the whole of Old Town is easily accessible on foot from your door.
There is a bar located on the street level of the building just below the apartment that had an EDM dance party (think vibrating walls and floors) until 1 or 2 in the morning on the first night, and then was just busy and loud with normal drinkers until about midnight on the second night. I don't want anyone else to have this happen to them unexpectedly, so I suggest that you only rent this apartment if you are planning to stay out late and party the night away while you are visiting Kotor. The apartment also had really terrible internet connectivity - the owner worked diligently to improve this during our stay (we just asked him about it when it wasn't working for us, we didn't ask him to fix it per se) but if this is something that is important to you, I suggest inquiring about current status. Finally, the arrival/check-in instructions that were accessible to us while in transit without internet access said that if we had provided an arrival time then the host would meet us at the building at the arrival time. Unfortunately the host wanted to us to contact him 15 minutes prior to our arrival (we arrived at the precise time we had provided) and had left the building. We were able to get in contact and ultimately he did provide us with access codes without too much delay. However, he repeatedly criticized us for not having followed instructions (there were different instructions that were accessible if you had internet access, which we didn't while in transit) - even several days later after we had departed (!).
