The towels had holes in them they were so ragged. Temperature in the room couldn't be controlled properly. I have an on going "dispute" with them for a refundable booking that wasn't all refunded. They told me that hotels.com wete the ones scamming me. If you didn't sign up for hilton honors, they charge for it. its 2025! What hotel charges for wifi?

The location of this wonderful hotel is spectacular!! It is situated in beautiful Old Town Antwerp, right beside Groenplaats and steps away from the majestic Cathedral of Our Lady Antwerp. A few blocks further lies the Grote Markt, which is the city’s main square. Clearly the Hilton was once a magnificent hotel, with its high ceilings and spacious rooms; however, the furniture and beds in the rooms are tired and dated. We found the staff to be very kind and attentive, and overall the service was great. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious.

Everything was very nice except an email I recieved telling me that to be sure I was at the hotel front door to list it as 48 Groenplaat which WAS NOT the front of the hotel but the hotel restaurant which made me pay cancellation fees for the taxi.

Always a great place to stay when in Antwerp! Best service, best team, best location and yes the rooms need a slight update but executive lounge and restaurant already got a makeover so always a treat to be here!!! Congrats to the team for always making us feel HOME 🎄

The service was uneven. They knew we needed a roll-away bed for our child, but though we arrived after 7 pm, it hadn't been put in our room. which was not a big deal as we notified them of this on the way down to go out for dinner. When we returned it was nicely installed. In the morning, while showering I discovered the shampoo dispenser was empty. There were also only towels set out for two occupants and not three. So no shampoo and a call to housekeeping to get a third set of towels. But again, not tragic and they delivered the towels in less than 10 minutes. After breakfast I let the front desk know about the shampoo dispenser. Fast-forward to the next morning and you guessed it, still no shampoo. And the desk lamp was broken, but we were on our way out, so what was the point of saying anything at all. Overall it was a fine hotel, with albeit tired-looking rooms. And the breakfast was great as was the vibe at the bar. But the holes in the service were frustrating and so easily remedied.

Lovely location, first class staff, property is letting itself go! Carpet in lounge area- almost threadbare. Our "superior" room. Shower mixer - never the same temperature twice. If it was thermostatic you would not know. Shower head, half blocked, water only came out of the middle holes. Lighting, and absolute disgrace. In the bathroom, fine . In the bedroom, I had to get the torch from my car to see anything. There is atmosphere and just being plain silly! Room was spacious but badly let down by housekeeping maintenance.

We had a great time at the Hilton! What a pleasant experience... beautiful building, friendly staff, speedy checkin/out, location is beyond exceptional, everything about our stay was positive and the whole family loved it there! This hotel is the perfect example of a well kept property, it might be an old building but it exudes comfort and elegance. It doesn't feel old at all...it feels classic, well done!
