nothing to like, not habitable, had to go and book into the Premier Inn, the heating did not work, broken boiler ,no hot water the cooker did not work- the place was cold, very depressing and stank even the gent who met he there advised, after chatting with lady managing that I should go to a hotel and contact booking.com to get full refund. Qukck lookk in kitchen cupboards to see if stink from there showed very sparse old plates and pots, I have never seen such an awful place in my life . Shame on booking.com for listing .

Clean and functional
Clean. Good base for a 20 minute walk into town. Streaming on tv once you get the WiFi going. Plenty of kitchen utensils etc. shower gel and soap provided.
Needs a little bit of updating but functional. Nothing wrong really. No freezer, not a big deal for us this time but might be for others. We were not contacted until 20 minutes before check in which had us worried. I had to fill out a form with ID in the car. What if I hadn’t any on me. Ideally this should have been done day before or morning of stay.

Good convenient upstairs flat for short or long stay. Great shower!
2nd time I've stayed; this time with a friend. Great location for our event at the Northcourt (the football club venue) - 6 mins walk - & a handy Co-Op & a Pizza takeaway in between. Bus stops to Oxford & Abingdon near the Northcourt. It's in a very nice residential area. Easy to find the key safe. Communication from the owner was great & in good time for us to get in. Everything we needed was there. All is as the photos showed. Good sized bedroom, living room, & a well stocked kitchen, with more than enough equipment for 2 people. Tea bags had been left, probably by a previous visitor. Comfy bed & sofa, with ample pillows & cushions. Good quality towels, & it was nice to have 2 shower gels, & 2 soaps (1 set for each person) so some can go in the bathroom & the kitchen. Good lighting (you do have to get used to the unexpected positions of the kitchen & hall light switches but not a problem) & it was nice to see quite a selection of books in the lounge, so that you don't need to rely on the TV for relaxation. Really good bathroom - excellent shower, & mirror + shelf above the basin, & ample supply of loo rolls. I was pleased to see recycling bins outside, including food waste.
Minor problems only that didn't seriously affect our stay: We were concerned that the front door of the house appeared faulty - it was either left open or at least unlocked by others, or tricky for us to unlock - the knack is to lift up the handle while turning the key, & then push. The flat owner doesn't own the house so there's not much more he can do except report it, which he kindly said he would. The flat door's key was initially a little tricky to manipulate, but we got the knack quickly & it did lock adequately (this is a nice quiet area, but, if it was in London, a 2nd security lock would be adviseable), The flat could do with a coat rack & door mat, & a small table in the lounge or a breakfast-bar-type arrangement in the kitchen (which also needs a draining rack & compostable bags for food waste to encourage people to do this sort of recycling, but you can always bring these in, as I did). The TV was tricky, but the owner kindly replied to my queries very quickly & told me to reset the router (pressing in a tiny side button with my thumb nail) until the 4 blue lights appear, & then enter the (very long & unmemorable) password which he kindly provided. We had to repeat this process several times, as the router lights kept going out. We were about to give up when it suddenly sprang into life. Maybe we weren't patient enough, as tech often denies it's working but then does. The screen message kept saying 'no network coverage' or to 'try again' so we did. The owner said it should just work by turning it on, & we shouldn't need a password, but it only worked again in the morning, remembering the settings, but not after a full day of us going out - we had to reset it again in the evening.

My stay was overall successful and comfobrtable. Everything went smoothly, and I had a pleasant experience. However, the
Location was close to my course.
During my stay in the apartment, there were a few things that I found uncomfortable. First, there was no internet access, which made it difficult to stay connected or entertained. Additionally, there were no entertainment options such as satellite channels or any other means of leisure. Another issue was the heating system, which was quite noisy and sometimes disturbing. These factors affected my overall comfort during my stay. Additionally, the apartment owner was sometimes slow to respond when I needed clarification or had questions about the apartment.

Convenient, comfy.
Had everything we wanted bar the iron and board. But we overcame.

clean and convenient but not cozy at all
the flat screen and kitchen
no wifi, paper thin walls, so you can hear all the neighbors like they were in the flat, no contact with staff

I extended my stay as I still had unfinished business in Abingdon.
The flat is large and well equipped for one person. There are dishes and cooking utensils. Rubbish bags and toilet paper are replenished, so the only thing you need to prepare is detergent. If you intend to cook, you should buy salt and oil. There is a Tesco Express nearby, so you can do a little shopping there. You can make a list of what you need to shop for after you check in and see what oil or sugar previous residents have left behind.
You have to take the key out of the key box to check in. Get the details from the flat owner. There are two keys - one for the communal door and one for your room. The communal door is very rarely locked and difficult to open. Chilling. The room door, on the other hand, can be poorly locked and the door can open, so be careful opening and closing doors.
