Dreadful, I could not stay here and had to find another hotel, do not book it!

Dirty sheets, someone else had been using them. Bathroom badly repaired to hide mould and leaky shower screen. I could not stay in this place and had to find another hotel. Photos misleading, misrepresented the property.

Cozy, warm, cheap, great shower, very comfy bed.

It was cozy and contained in a nice small apartment good soundproofing so couldn’t really hear any busy traffic going by or people around the area all in all it was pretty good.

It was a little bit difficult to find at first the location isn’t 100% accurate but still very close. It’s just marks the apartment on the wrong side of the road and one house across but as long as you’ve got a picture of what it looks like it’s not.

Handy for train station and buses

We liked the convenience to centre. Easy access to buses and rail station. The bed was comfortable and although it was a shower over the bath, it was powerful and hot. Plenty of hanging. Good number of plugs and 2 USB charging points.

The entry door, we found it difficult to start the unlocking process. The noise insulation between other 'studios' The term 'studio' was also misleading. It is basically an ensuite room with a large cupboard for clothes hanging, plus shelves for the microwave, fridge and crockery. There is a desk with chair, tray, kettle and mugs

Had a pleasant stay at the apartment

Although it’s just a small room with attached bathroom, it’s clean and comfortable and conveniently located within walking distance from train station.

Minor issue but it would be good to have a mat or extra towel to place below the bath tub and it may get slippery there. Some of the clothe hangers are broken.

Oxford great, room not so much

It is fairly central, only real positive. Holly Bush pub nearby was very friendly and do a good roast.

Room on arrival was a mess from the previous occupier, piles of rubbish, stained towels, unchanged bed linen and broken window handle. To the hosts credit they did resolve this quickly and apologised. Building is just a converted house, thin walls and extremely noisy pipes, you can hear what everyone else is doing. Room in need of some serious TLC, condition did not match the pictures, grout replaced by tape in the shower/bath, visible black mould. Not worth the money.

Convenient location - easy walk into Oxford and Waitrose not far for breakfast.

It was a bit noisy in the evening but not too late. The bathroom was not cramped but not in brilliant repair and not as clean as possible.

Such a shame about the hot water....

The room was clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the blanket was super soft.

We had real issues with the hot water. My partner had a shower that was scolding hot, no matter what he did and about 30-60mins later I tried to have a shower and at best, the water was warm. When I communicated this to the host, I was told "there is hot water 24hrs including the sink taps. And then given instructions on how to very specifically position the hot tap, to actually get hot water. It felt like I was being accused of making it up, but I'm not sure to what end. I had also tried every position and combination of positions available. There was no hot water. I tried again in the morning, with the same result. I replied giving more details and the host thanked me for the information and said she would call a plumber. Sadly that doesn't get me clean! Perhaps consider adding a leaflet or similar to the rooms containing information regarding it's quirks. We also only had one fork and no water glasses. Just wine glasses and mugs.

Don't bother!

It isn't a studio flat. It is a bedroom with an en suite and a mircowave and mini fridge in the cupboard. There wasn't enough utensils for both of us to eat together. You wash up in the bathroom sink. There wasn't no hot water- the shower was cold. The parking at the property is extra. It is very noisy. The doors slam and you hear people walking up and down the stairs. The room had mould.

Satisfactory for this visit but unlikely to return

Location for our stay was good. Shower was excellent wit never ending hot water. Easy walking distance to town and a nice walk along the canal was enjoyable. Supermarket close by and a couple of restaurants within the immediate vicinity.

Bedroom was a lot smaller than depicted in the photos. Bed was really uncomfortable. Room was very warm but opening windows caused the sound of never ending traffic to be even louder than with windows shut. Also surprised at the length of time the toilet ran when we flushed - must cost an arm & a leg for water bills!

Good base from which to explore Oxford

We booked the studio as a bed for the night as we had a couple of events to attend in Oxford during the afternoon & evening. We were pleased that we were able to find the flat easily-it is close to the park and ride so simple to get to. As a bonus we were offered the carparking space from 11am which was great for us. Usually we take the train to Oxford. We were able to walk into the town centre-just ten minutes from the train station and less than twenty to the main centre. Our host quickly responded to my questions. The studio is spotless with an excellent and spacious bathroom. I would describe the room as simple. Compared to many places we have stayed in, (Oxford is expensive) it was excellent value for money and we will stay again.

The road was a little noisy but quiet during the night. We could hear our neighbours upstairs moving around but it did not bother us.
