Great value apartment for those visiting Oxford.

Great value apartment -- very good in terms of size and comfort for Oxford, compared to price. Well equipped. Well located -- walking distance to Summertown amenity and a children's park; easy bus into town centre and train station. Nice host who communicates well.

Nothing serious to not like here. Some minor signs of aging about the apartment, but does not take away from it being a great value stay.

Recommended property for Oxford

All rooms up to a high standard and well maintained and clean. Beds were exceptionally comfortable with nice bed linen. Great location with shops within a 10 minute walking distance and also only a 10 minute bus ride into town. Contacted the host to see about adjusting the check in and check out times and both were accommodated which was very much appreciated. Good shower, well kept and stocked kitchen

It was cooling down and the heating was not coming on. The place was clean, but there was a bit of mould on the bathroom ceiling.

We stayed as a base for the F1 Grand Prix in Silverstone.

Easy access to the flat with collection of keys from a lock box. Garage available for parking. Availability to make / cook our own breakfast each morning.

Kitchen floor could have done with a good clean. When I went to wipe up spilt water, the kitchen paper towel used was rather dirty. Rest of the flat was clean.

A nice spacious apartment. Comfortable beds and living room. Great location with a bus stop a few feet away and a quiet neighborhood.

No salt in the kitchen, but a minor inconvenience. There was coffee and sugar.

Simple and comfortable apartment with everything we needed for our family of four

Located in a quiet cul de sac with a bus stop right outside. Buses go right into the city centre. Fully equipped kitchen, shampoo, body wash and towels provided. Host was also very responsive and kind.

Toilet seat was a tiny bit yellow and radiators in the living room didn’t seem to be working which made it a little chilly for us tropic-dwellers.

the apartment was the perfect size and location for us (grp of 5). easy access to every place we wanted to visit. very easy to get to and the host was exceptional

The property is well situated not far from Summertown and with frequent buses to the centre of Oxford. The garage is tight for a modern car but we were able to get the car in with a few cm on either side and this allowed parking in front of the garage for friends.

I could find no instructions to operate the TV so was unable to record programs.

Spacious, comfortable, warm convenient place to stay.

Travelling with two adult children having three bedroom was great. The place was warm and the beds were comfortable. We were able to prepare our own food. The bus was only 2 mins out the front door. Great communication with the host.

Attention to maintenance and detail as the building and decor is ageing.

Comfy, spotless and roomy apartment in great location

Had everything we needed for 6 night stay with our young grandson. Well-equipped and everything worked just fine—we contacted owner with some minor questions/issues and he was very quick to respond, very helpfully. Great location/quiet, with lots of resources near downtown SummerTown. Nice to have parking. Would definitely return.

The location of the property to shops. The cleanliness and it was over all a lovely apartment to stay in. Neighbours are very friendly also.

All in all this place isn't a bad place but it needs general maintainence and detailed cleaning.

The Property is secured with an outside entrance lock before you enter the stairs to the flat. Location is in a good neighbourhood The was sugar, various teas, coffee, even salt and pepper, detergent, and washing soap. 5 to 8 mins walk from food stores. The Bathroom shower

The bathroom can use regular cleaning in the grooves of the shower door. Updated locks and light switch. You are told to clean up flat, wash and put away dishes, pots and pans and everything else uses. Throw out garbage. The light in on the staircase needs to be brighter. The neighbours have an abundance of shoes and slippers at their door spilling over the area. The bathroom sink was clogged the first day but I called and it was fixed in a couple hours The stove is tricky to use and there are no instructions.

Perfect for a small family

It was dark when we arrived; Danny did mention which block we were staying in so it was very extremely helpful as the blocks did not have visible numbers on them. Just took some extra time ascertaining we had the correct one! Location was no problem for us as we had rented a car. The allocated garage is very small for our 7-seater so we parked outside the garage instead (noticed the neighbors all parked outside anyways). There's a bus stop 2 mins from the house, very convenient if you're not driving. We enjoyed the bus rides to and from the city center as we did not want to bother with parking in town. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our family of 2A2C. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was a washing machine/dryer too which was definitely useful in winter. Short walk to nearby Summertown.

The heaters' thermostats were controlled. The bedrooms were toasty! However the living room was a tad too cold, couldn't really feel much heat enamating from the 2 heaters.

A comfortable place to stay within easy reach of the city centre and with parking included.

The flat was very easy to find, was within an easy walk of the city centre and Summertown and had parking included in the price. The owner was very helpful too and popped round to bring some kitchen utensils we needed.

The shower didn't drain very well but that's a minor issue and one which can easily be rectified with a drain unblocking liquid.

A lovely property in a quiet location yet easily accessible to town. Highly recommended.

We loved this property. It was bright and airy with a wonderful vibe and was spotlessly clean. We didn't use all of the facilities but there was everything you could possibly want and more!. The location is very good indeed in a quiet cul de sac near to Summertown which is an upmarket area with a fabulous relaxed feel. The furnishings, bedding etc are of a high standard which made for a comfortable nights sleep. It really is a home from home and we had the most enjoyable stay. Everyone we encountered was super friendly too. It really is such a happy place! We would highly recommend a stay in this well appointed property. Thank you Danny for looking after your guests so well and being so helpful when we asked a couple of questions.

The water pressure in the bathroom taps was a bit slow but the power shower and the water pressure in the kitchen made up for this, so we are certainly not complaining just pointing out a very minor issue.

An enjoyable short stay and we would definitely book this flat again if we return to Oxford.

Excellent location, just a short walk from excellent shops and cafes in Summertown. Easy access to bus routes. Set back from the main road so not too much traffic noise.

The garage for the property was very small, not suitable for most modern cars. Parking is very limited around the flats. However, when I rang the owner to say we couldn’t use the garage, he immediately suggested an alternative place to park close to the flat so the problem was resolved quickly. Single bed was much too soft but double beds were fine.

Great location and a good size accommodation for a family of 4

The location was great, close to Summertown and not very far from Oxford City Centre...the walk was nor as long as may think it is.

The dining chairs were wobbly and uncomfortable and the tap pressure in the bathroom was very low

Excellent location - Summertown is a lovely area with a range of shops, supermarkets and cafes and and walkable to the centre of Oxford (about two miles). The apartment was spacious, clean and well furnished. The lounge very comfortable, and kitchen and dining facilities good ( we cook while away). It was also quiet and the beds were comfortable. The three bedrooms were a decent size. The bathroom was excellent - a very good power shower! The parking worked well. Danny's communication was excellent. It was also worm with plenty of hot water.

Some of the saucepans and grater needed a good scrub! The heating was at fixed temperatures which meant we couldn't turn it down and it was a bit too hot at times. For safety you need to to provide a non-slip mat in the shower.

Very close to the centre of Oxford, this property was bright, spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. It was also useful to be able to park a car in the garage.

Lovely apartment. Ruth has put a lot of thought into it to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The kitchen was fully stocked with herbs and spices and cleaning things. I'm a mother of two and it made my life so much easier. Impeccably clean. We really loved our stay.

Great place for a family holiday stay to visit Oxford and the surrounding region

The location next to South Parade in Summertown was very convenient for restaurants and groceries as well as getting out to the Oxford ring road whenever we did driving trips. The hosts made things very easy, providing details on how to access everything well in advance. The main pluses were we needed free parking as well as bicycle storage and the place was able to accommodate both. The apartment is nicely furnished, reflective of the photos provided of the place, and had all of the amenities we needed, e.g. dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, etc.

The place has 3 bedrooms, which works well for a family with two kids. The only downside was that the bed my wife and I had was narrow (not sure if it was a double or a queen) for the two of us. It was manageable but would have been good to have a slightly wider bed.

Lovely apartment, bright and clean. Well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. Close by to everything we needed and parking was good. Clean fresh bedding and blankets in every room.

Neighbours upstairs were occasionally noisy but nothing bad! A little cold to start but it was also absolutely freezing outside!

Goede locatie en vriendelijke host, maar krap & vol huis met gebreken, zeker als het warm is buiten.

Drie slaapkamers zijn fijn, er was genoeg kastruimte, het was dicht bij een bushalte, de host was heel vriendelijk en heeft goede restauranttips gegeven.

Het was allemaal heel erg krap, je kon niet normaal door kamers lopen, de badkamer is niet goed geventileerd dus er zat schimmel tegen het plafond, de keuken werd bloedheet overdag omdat daar het gordijn weg was, en sommige lampen deden het niet.
