Hands down - the BEST rental place in Oxford!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've stayed at multiple places in Oxford, and this one is hands down the best. It's modern, clean, and has a fantastic setup. Vaiva is an absolutely wonderful host: responsive, attentive, and genuinely caring about her guests' experience. Each room comes with its own private bathroom, which is a huge plus. You also get access to a fully stocked kitchen with ample cupboard space, two full-size refrigerators with freezer space, and laminated tags with room numbers, so you can label your shelf space, which is such a thoughtful touch. There's a common dining area, a washer and dryer, and a lovely small backyard with a sitting area that's perfect for unwinding. The house has five rooms total: two downstairs and three upstairs, with central heating and air conditioning. Each room also has its own radiator, which really helps push warmth into the space during colder months. The location is incredibly convenient. Bus stops are literally a few feet away, and buses run from early morning to past midnight, which makes getting around so easy. Oxford city centre is about 15–20 minutes by bus, depending on the time of day. You're also within walking distance of a shopping mall, grocery stores, gyms, coffee shops, and restaurants. The area feels safe, and Vaiva is always responsive to needs and requests. I've stayed here two months at a time, and it has truly become my home away from home. I actually didn't even want to write this review, so I could keep this place a secret! One thing to note: the walls are on the thinner side, so if you're a light sleeper or easily bothered by noise, I'd recommend bringing good-quality earplugs or a headset. There isn't much Vaiva can do about the sound insulation, but she will remind guests if noise levels become an issue. That said, guests are generally respectful of quiet hours. This place is an absolute gem.

Beds are great, but personally, it would be nice to have much thicker mattresses. This is a preference thing, but overall, the beds are comfortable for a rental. Thin walls, but nothing earplugs or a headset can't help to drown out the noise.

Fantastic stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Shared spaces were clean and easy to use. Easy travel by bus into the city centre and back.

It is good to know that the walls are quite thin so one hears it if other guests are loud or noisy or if there is much activity in the kitchen. Did not really affect our stay.

Clean, quiet, comfortable.

The room was secure, clean, and comfortable. Ready access to the kitchen at all hours. The shower had good pressure. The location was decently centralized for my needs, and the direct access to bus stops was fantastic.

Walls were a bit thin, so while it was mostly quiet, could hear other residents later in the night when snoring/phone buzzing, but for the most part this wasn't super noticeable all the time, just during quiet hours.

Great place!

I travel to Oxford for work in the Science Park regularly and I think I found the perfect place to book from now on. I loved having access to a well equipped kitchen (I could even bake bread and a cake) and the bus lines 1&5 right in front of the house to Oxford city center. Tesco superstore is a 15min walk away, and by bike I was in the Science Park within 15min. As others have commented already, it can be a bit noisy, so bring earplugs

Por culpa de unos adolescentes que se alojaron en la habitación de abajo que daba al jardín no pudimos dormir en las 2 últimas noches porque se pasaban hasta las 2 am hablando fuerte y haciendo ruidos. No avisamos al propietario de la primera noche porque pensamos que ya pararían al día siguiente. Pero por culpa de esta pareja no pudimos dormir bien dos noches seguidas.

Modern, schoon en super verblijf

De kamer was licht, mooi rustig en modern ingericht. Met een ruime kledingkast en bed, beetje smal voor 2 personen, maar prima en goed matras. Schoon, goed verzorgd. De badkamer was ook modern, nieuw en schoon. Shampoo en douche gel aanwezig. De kamer aan de achterzijde vh huis was rustig en andere hostelgasten waren niet hoorbaar, wat prettig is. De bus halte is voor de deur.

Beneden is een moderne keuken van alle gemakken voorzien. En waarvan alle gasten gebruik mogen maken. Ook is er een wasmachine en droger, erg handig. Er was niet veel ruimte om te zitten, ongeveer 6 zitplaatsen. Wij hebben ook buiten gegeten op het goed verzorgde terras. Erg vriendelijke en behulpzame hoste! Aanrader!
