A perfect location and accommodation with a friendly host.

Location was ideal for going to John Radcliffe Hospital 5 to 15 walk depending on which department you are going too. 15 minute walk to White Hart pub. Bus stop into Oxford 5 minute walk. The fridge, microwave and kettle with coffee, tea , cereal and milk were great to have. Host was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful little room

It was near West Wing at Hospital. It was lovely to walk to hospital each day rather than parking at hospital.

Very Comfortable Stay

Eranda was a warm, welcoming host who was prepared to do anything to help. She was knowledgeable about the local bus services. The bed and quilt were both super comfy ... in fact I'm looking to source one to use at home! Facilities in the room were more than adequate ... a microwave, small fridge and kettle was provided along with good quality cereal, tea, coffee, milk (lovely) and water. Both the room and en-suite were lovely and clean. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

The only thing I missed was a tv but this was explained by Eranda. However, free wi-fi was provided throughout the stay so I was able to watch Strictly on my mobile. The following was out of the host's control but may be useful information to those using public transport ... normally the X3 would connect directly into the city centre but unfortunately the service into Headington was disrupted during my stay so going into the city I had to use a shuttle bus (SH1) into Headington Shops and then a connection into the city centre. The buses into the centre run frequently. To return my recommendation would be to use the X3 city centre to the John Radcliffe Hospital where the service terminates and then the SH1 to the accommodation (I think 3 stops later). Of course, if you prefer, Uber taxis operate.

If I ever need a place to stay close to the JR Hospital, that’s the one I would like to have.

I booked one night, I needed a place to stay within walking distance from John Radcliffe Hospital. The room and the bathroom were very clean, warm, spacious, and the owner welcoming. I had tea, coffee, cereals, milk and water in the mini fridge, a lot of details that make a difference. A good size desk where I could catch up on my work too

Lovely room and Eranda went out of her way to make the room comfortable. I had all what I needed in it with food and appliances to make one feel very comfortable. The room was quiet and faced to a lovely garden view. Will visit again!

Clean and great for hospital

We rented this in order to stay somewhere close to the hospital. It was perfect for this as we walked and avoided car parking charges. Not only was it convenient but it was SO clean that it could pro a ly be used for a hospital clinic! 😀 maybe even day surgery 😀.

It was on an estate but to be honest that didn't really matter as everything including city and out of city was easily accessible (as easy as it can be in Oxford - it seems they don't like cars in that city and it takes a long time to get anywhere. Clearly nothing to do with the property though,just an observation).

Clean and quite room a bit far from center

The room was spotless. The owner gave us coffee, tea and milk. Inside the room, we have water kettle, microwave and small refrigerator. Wifi is good. There is no AC in the room, but we open the window a little bit and we were fine (we stayed in September). Oxford was already cool and pleasant.

I did not realize that the owner and her family are living in the same house. We rented a room and their bedrooms are next to me. This is very new to me. I felt like I invading their privacy when my husband and I came “home” very very late at night. We parked our car on the street, someone hit our car (on the back bumper). Of course, this is not owner’s fault. This is purely my “luck”. Keep in mind, this is very quite residential area and the road is big enough to park on the street (no fee).

Very clean and comfortable room close to the JR

The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and proximity to Headington and the JR was ideal for me. Booking and check-in were very easy.

Possibly a little expensive compared to other rooms I have rented elsewhere in Oxford- only took it because of a special offer through Booking.com. On the other hand, prices go up everywhere nowadays.

The room was very cosy and warm. Very close to a bus stop into the city center as well which was very handy. The shower was very nice and the small fridge and microwave with water and breakfast items was great to have in the room. Would highly recommend!

One night stop, close to John Radcliffe hospital.

The host was friendly, polite and informative right from arrival. The room was very clean, and just like many hotel rooms. There was tea and coffee and a fridge to use. I had a very pleasant stay.

The room is available from 3pm yet it said available immediately on booking.com Parking was tricky as street parking isn't allowed till 5pm but I was lucky enough to be able to park at a neighbours.
