You get what you pay for

20minute walk into town and it's near the train station. This is what keeps the rating high for the price paid. microwave and fridge is very useful the bed although cheap has some thick foam on and is surprisingly comfy. tv is a good size

I read reviews saying how paper thin the walls were and thought surely not. No joke, you can hear a crisp packet open. They're embarrassingly thin. I wouldn't stay again for privacy. It is insanely hot! the radiators do not turn off and we slept and left the windows open all day to compete with the furnace radiator. towels are stained and the place could do with a deep clean. Extremely dusty on top of the fridge.

Location was good, easy to get in

The room wasn't that clean. Stains on duvet cover. Everything was extremely cheap and slightly battered, the room was a proper "landlord special"

The locations was near the trainstation and walkable to the center. Also quiet neighbourhood. The host was friendly and let was bring our luggage earlier than check in.

Well, I think the only I had to say might be a few molds on the bathroom but nothing serious. It wasn't like a dirt bathroom it was ok. Also cleaned of course. I don't have any more negative about this place I would saty again it was Value for money and great location.

Disappointing. There was no value for money

Accessibility to the property, very close to the station. It was easy to locate and access the building. The WiFi was also fantastic

The room and the bathroom smelt damp. There was a leak somewhere innthe bathroom that led to water on the floor. There was also moulds forming. The beddings in my opinion looked old. I paid for 2 nights but checked out after the 1st night forfeiting the money for the 2nd night.

Fairly close to town centre Clean, no problem there.

Defo needs a refurb !! Could hear EVERYTHING going on in next room. Shower grouting and overall room paintwork need doing. Not worth the price of the room. A house with former bedrooms advertised as studios. My friends stayed at a separate hotel which was actually cheaper and was modern with more comfort.

It was chosen because near to my friends. Bed was comfortable and windows could be opened on a very hot night.

Very expensive because tiny in size, bathroom wasn’t very clean, and the lack of sound proofing was horrendous. Slept badly. Not good value.

Fine for a one night stay, if I was staying any longer I’d probably want my money back.

The location being only a 5-10 minute walk from the station is ideal for a quick stay. It was also very easy to collect the keys and enter the property.

Thin walls so you could either other users of the property very clearly, including snoring throughout the night keeping me awake. Mould in the bathroom. The extractor fan in the bathroom was broken, every time you’d switch on the bathroom light it would automatically turn on, but would make this ear-piercing noise which I knew everyone in the property would hear. So out of courtesy for them, I didn’t use it, but it meant I couldn’t turn the bathroom light on.

Bad choice

It was extremely small, you barely had the space to walk around the bed. Very dirty and smelly, only one plate was available and it was two of us, not even all the cutleries, at night the heating would automatically turn on at the highest temperature! Me and my partner woke up every single night in the middle of the night to open the windows and let some air circulate, such bad idea this much heat in such small room, especially when the temperature outside was pretty high those days. There was less than a finger of washing soap, nothing was matching the description on the website. The light on my side of the bed didn't work, I had to ask Peter for a new bulb and he only came on our third day there, he also brought a toilet mat and a new kettle, probably realising how bad his service was and so trying to make up for it. I highly DO NOT recommend it. The only good thing was the location.

Great self contained room for weekend trip

Perfect little room for a weekend break. Bit small, but contains everything you really need, plus private bathroom. Booked only a couple days out, room was clean, well kept and provided more than was expected for the price. Clear instructions left by the owners for access. Only 20 minute walk into Oxford centre too. Very happy!

Parking available was street parking nearby and there were no spaces available while we stayed. Did find paid parking close by though

Nagyon pici a szoba, alig lehet elaraszolni az ágy mellett, hogy eljussunk az ablakhoz, íróasztalhoz. Kényelmetlen a fürdőszobában mosogatni. Esetleg lehetne decaf kávét is bekészíteni a koffeines mellé. Kényelmetlenül puha az ágy. A fürdőszobában lehtne alaposabban takarítani.

Bon séjour, mais pas parfait.

L’emplacement est bien, dans un quartier calme, d’où l’on rejoint le centre d’Oxford en 25 mn à pied. L’accueil était bien (nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer le propriétaire) Les studios sont bien conçus, mais un peu plus de nettoyage et de maintenance entre les clients seraient bénéfiques…

Le manque de propreté : plinthes, joints et recoins de douche, linge de lit qui aurait mérité une lessive à 60 degrés
