Fantastic pit stop with access to Oxford centre within minutes

Communication with staff who bent over backwards to help, good pressure in the warm shower, fairly comfortable bed, well heated in room. Just enough space for rest and getting washed with main city attractions within a couple of minutes walk, gorgeous food in the restaurant downstairs and free luggage holding until later on checkout day to grab bag and cross the road to the train station.

Stairs could seem steep for anyone with limited mobility, was expecting a different room but after talking to the staff, our original room had an unexpected issue and they went out of their way to give us anything we asked for with the room we were given instead.

Very welcoming and what was so clear to me is the amount of effort was met to ensure you are well looked after and any requests are immediately tended to, in fact whenever I am in oxford and I am regularly for work, parked rooms is my absolute first choice it actually pains me when I’m out of luck when they are fully booked! and I have stayed in a majority of the hotels in and around Oxford and can say none of them beat parkend rooms👍👌

You get what you pay for

The location is excellent. The booking was cheap, which reflected the quality of the stay. Cheap and cheerful for a night. The bedlinen felt clean.

We were supposed to collect the front door keys from the key safe outside the house, but it was empty because the system relies on guests to return the keys after use. The bathroom was awful to say the least. No drainage system at all. Rust, dirt, and body fat on the walls. The windows are either painted black or are impossible to open. The locks are faulty, both on the room door, where there is almost no space to put the key in. On the bathroom door, the handle is placed on the opposite side. The staircase leading to the room was dirty. For a last-minute one-night booking, it's okay, but no more than that. The bed's cushions had marks. The house is noisy as the walls are paper-thin.

Warm and wifi was good.

Dirty (bathroom mat and bathroom in general, also black mould), plumbing awful (the sink pipe let water all over the bathroom floor), pillows extremely thin, showerhead at neck height. They gave us the complete wrong code to get in so we had to call someone and wait in the cold.

Covered in bites from an unidentified insect after my stay - almost certainly bed bugs given the number and distribution pattern. Seems there have been similar complains made against other rooms on the property for the past few months. Seemingly, it remains unresolved. The sink drains onto the floor of the bathroom - which is a wet room.

A stress-free and relaxing stay!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The property was very easy to check into, and the staff were friendly, responsive, and always helpful with my queries. The room was clean and comfortable, with complimentary teas, toiletries, and even a Muslim shower — which was such a thoughtful touch from the host! The location was perfect — less than a 3-minute walk from the train station, which made it super convenient with my luggage. On my final day, the host kindly allowed me to leave my bags after check-out so I could enjoy a full day of sightseeing. I had a lovely, peaceful stay, and the property was quiet and relaxing. I’ll definitely be coming back again!!

I loved the property overall, but a small rug or shoe stand near the entrance would be a nice addition. Also, since the bathroom is a wet room, a floor mat would be helpful to keep things dry and comfortable.

Perfect for a short stay while touring.

Excellent location. Host was responsive and very eager to make up for any issues we had. Perfect as a base while doing activities or looking around the city. Bed was comfortable. A small rack with some hangers for clothes.

The cleaner missed some things prior to our arrival, although the host was eager to make up for the lack thereof and delivered some missing items (toilet paper and a dish sponge).

Location was excellent, very central. We had it for a great price. Easy check in and out. Clean. Free WiFi. Fridge available. I think it’s good value for a night or two but wouldn’t stay longer than that.

Overall room needs updating. Very small wet room. No mirror (would recommend other guests to bring a makeup mirror!) No bin available

Sub standard accommodation

There was a fridge.

Room was a makeshift conversion. The rest of the house in state of disrepair with ongoing amateur works and noisy. Windows rotting and grubby. Shower fixed at a height of approx 4ft needing to crouch to use it. Was expecting to cook for ourselves but with only a microwave that was not possible. Suitable only for a backpacker 1 night stay.

Good stay for 1 night

The location is very convenient and 10 mins away from local attractions - great for tourism. Clean linen and comfortable bed. The staff seems to read the reviews and has put hangs for clothes and a bath mat, which is great. The staff at the restaurant below was very friendly and helped me get into the room as I did not get the check-in instructions in time.

Apologies, I wanted to leave a better review because of the friendly staff at the restaurant. However, you really need to deep clean this property and repair it - especially if you want to rent it for the high price you do. Although it was hoovered and bed linen was clean, the rest of the property was not hygienic with hair and dust. I was not confident in the cleanliness to use any of the facilities. It’s worth chatting to the neighbours and ask them to be more considerate of your guests. They woke me up with very loud chatting in front of my room in the morning.

Excellent location and value, but don't expect luxury.

Location is absolutely stellar, within 5 minutes of the train station and walking distance of Oxford attractions. Staff were very friendly, they were from the restaurant downstairs. They held on to our bags on check in and check out day for free which was a massive help to our trip which involved long walks!

Room was missing some key basics - no waste bin for example. Bathroom was a bit grotty as it was a wet room. Walls were very thin. It's ideal if you're only planning on using it as a base to explore from for a short trip, but if you actually want to spend a lot of time in your room I'd look elsewhere.

Cheap for Oxford few tweaks needed

Location great, near station

No hot water for couple of days whilst trying to shower, the key entry is reliant on people remembering to replace the key into the lock box. The bidet hose was a nice touch, the fact it was plumbed directly into the hot tap was dangerous

La localisation

A FUIR ABSOLUMENT!!!! À 2h du matin, j’ai découvert que le lit était infesté de punaises de lit. À cette heure-là, on n’a évidemment nulle part où aller. Je n’ai pas dormi, et j’ai dû jeter une partie de mes affaires par peur de ramener des punaises chez moi. J’ai demandé un remboursement au logement et au service client : ils ne se sont pas encore pronnoncés pour le moment. Des punaises de lit dans un hébergement, c’est inacceptable. Cette expérience a ruiné mon week-end. N’y allez pas!
