Location. Quiet at night.

The look of the property was shabby - front door could do with replacing - worn and chipped wood. Were given code to front door, which was fine in the daylight, but when we returned later in the evening, without a torch/flashlight on phone, we couldn't see to key in the code, as the light over the door didn't come on (or so we thought). However, when we managed to get in, the light was activated from the inside (why not the outside also)? TV did not work. Towel hanging on back of door from previous occupant. The "crockery" consisted of one bowl, two small plates and one large plate. Cutlery - 2 knives and two forks - no spoons at all.

Convienent, compact room

Convenient location, close to the station and easy to walk into the city centre. Hosts were responsive and check-in process was easy. The room was fairly comfortable and had basic amenities required.

The room is very small and it would not be possible to travel with large luggage as there was no floor space. It is one of several rooms in the property, and the soundproofing is average -- however it is on a quiet street. The shower is in the room, and didn't drain very well.

Only book if you like alot of noise

The accommodation was as I expected and value for money, bed comfortable

I needed to message the host on how to use the shower, it would have been beneficial to have instructions on the "how"... Guests in the next unit were noisy all night for both nights I stayed and you could hear them moving around, talking, arguing, going in and out and no consideration for others. Reported this to the host just before I left but no response whatsoever which is hugely disappointing as she was quick to answer my other messages😡

Paid for reservation, arrived at property, which is a self check-in. Called the owner numerous times to obtain keys but got no answer. Sent e-mails but got no answer. Waited for an hour and a half but as I received no reply, I had to cancel as I couldn’t enter the premises. No refund given and Booking.com no help either

Simple, small studio comfortable for a short stay

The studio was easy to access and provided a simple place to stay within walking distance of Oxford. Facilities on offer included hair dryer and fan and the bed was comfortable.

There were some issues with the water temperature and I also needed to ask about turning the shower on via a button on the wall.

A good location for central Oxford, with a few improvements like new TV and adjustable heating would be great.

Location. I liked the fridge and microwave which was a pleasant surprise.

Entry instructions minimal. Difficult key cupboard operation. Uncarpeted throughout meant serious noise just to move about, especially stairs and landing. Other residents were loud and inconsiderate. TV did not work. Radiator could not be adjusted or turned down, so room was too hot.

Perfect location near the train station. Easy check-in. Clean self-contained room with shower, toilet, microwave, kettle, desk etc - small and simple, but everything you need for a short stay.

Walls thin, can hear if talking is loud in other rooms, or from street if windows are open. Luckily not too noisy.

it is a room with a toilet partition. the place was kept very clean and neat, nothing to worry about :) good for 1-2 days of stay but not for long periods.

neighbours, aka "roommates" can get particularly noisy but that is subjective to whoever you encounter during your stay

too much noise coming from other rooms, the bathroom door was defective and didn’t close, no towel hooks in the bathroom, toilet seat defective, radiator not working properly and one of the windows didn’t close properly, stairs too steep and dangerous.

Perfect position for Oxford city center and station. The room was modern, comfortable and clean. The host has been very responsive and friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

The studio really has everything that one needs (TV, hairdryer, iron, microwave, kettle, coffee/tea, shampoo/soap...) and it was clean. The location is very good. The room is small and the stairs narrow, and I can see that some people could mind that (but it is exactly as in the photos so one knows what to expect). I wouldn't mind staying there again if back to Oxford.

Super location, size and facilities for a solo traveller arriving by train or a couple on a short stay. Warm room. Clean and comfortable bed. Good communication from owner.

Die Schlüsselübergabe war einfach und hat gut funktioniert.

Als wir kamen, war das Zimmer noch nicht gereinigt. Wir hatten dann den Gastgeber angerufen, der dann jemanden schickte um das Zimmer zu reinigen. Die Bettbezüge und Handtücher waren zwar ausgetauscht worden, waren aber dennoch vergilbt und dreckig. Die Matratze war sehr durchgelegen.

La ubicación. Está muy cerca de la estación de trenes y a quince minutos caminando al centro. Creo que la relación calidad precio es buena. La instalación es nueva.

La escalera de acceso al estudio y el tamaño de la habitación. Como dice algún comentario anterior, más que un estudio es una habitación (pequeña), con una baño y ducha (pequeños). Es limpio y el trato fue bueno, pero para más de una o dos noches, para dos personas puede ser agobiante....hay que sincronizar movimientos para poder moverse. Y la cocina consiste en un microondas y algún plato
