Brilliant place to stay.

The room had everything that we needed. Kitchenette, shower, bathroom and plenty of space. Towels provided if you forgot your own like we did. Plenty of parking.

Lovely little lodge, perfect for short or longer break

Really lovely cosy little lodge, all basic self catering facilities, very clean and well thought out. Loved sitting outside on the chairs in the evening. Felt peaceful with the surrounding trees. Perfect and we will be back again definitely.

I like the location of the property. City is is easier to access by walk. Very quiet and comfortable place for a short as well as long stay. The owner and the care takers are really good and very much friendly.

Lovely getaway, lovely owner, adorable cabins. Would come back again.

Owner was really lovely. The cabin was so cosy. Absolutely loved it. Only thing was the bed dipped slightly but this didn’t detract from the overall stay. Would definitely stay again. Also really loved in the mornings when the owner would leave food out for the red kites. Morning bird show was amazing. Thanks so much for having us. Would definitely come back and have recommended to friends.

dirty and cold - otherwise it would have been great

Wifi was fast so we could work fine during the day. Parking was available in front. it was spacious and well made property and with enough space for a family of three. It has the essentials for basic cooking and living at a time where lockdown doesn't allow you many other choices.

It was dirty, humid and cold. I'm not sure if the covers and sheets had been replaced from the previous visitors as we found nails from somebody else under the bed covers. The pillows were stinking. The kettle was not descaled and had white remainings all over it so we couldn't use it. One small electric heater was not enough for us so we were nicely given an additional one upon our request but they stopped working regularly and the place was freezing cold. we asked about it and were told that the heaters were working fine, despite the place being very cold. The cutlery didn't seem well clean so we washed it ourselves. We ended up booking a separate hotel for sleeping and kept the place just for working during the day.
