Quiet, clean, spacious and not far to walk to town

Bonus feeding of kites in the yard in the morning. Spectacular. Nice to have some water and tea.

Bedside lamp lighting was quite low, check-out was a bit early for us but it was fine to leave a few minutes after 10 in the end

Cosy lodge within safe area and excellent parking.

Very warm and cosy lodge on ground level. Great location and excellent parking, within walking distance to the shops. Cosy lodge with great heating and everything needed.

It would be nice to meet the owner on arrival. The pillows were very lumpy and the mattresses very soft. The shower made a loud noise at times an d the kitchen cupboards on the outside were not too clean.

Unique but lovely little lodge in the middle of Didcot. Was perfect for our short stay. The lodge was very spacious, had all the amenities you would need and the area was nice and quiet. Definitely not something we have seen before in a residential area, but a great setup nonetheless!

My family live in Didcot and I now live in Stafford . It was so lovely to be near them but still have a cosy lodge to co

It was so cosy . It had a lovely feel about it . I was on my own this time but if I brought my two daughters they’d still be enough room for all of us .

There were no complaints at all . It was an enjoyable stay .

Great for basic stay but needs a little attention

Cosy enough for what we used it for which was over night basically. Something beyond the lodges control, but a perfect spot for the Red Kites. Made for a spectacular morning watching them

It needs more cleaning and maintenance. There were holes in the plaster in the bathroom, the grout is also black in places and a cobweb behind the door. By the double bed, you can see dust on all the grooves in the wood. Would have been nice to have a dustpan and brush to clear up grass cuttings from the park too.

I booked a One bedroom apartment, which to me means one bedroom is separated from the rest of the apartment however this was not the case, I did check the dictionary definition !! I was moved the next day to Lodge 3 which you describe as a 2 bedroom however its not, its one bedroom. I was also asked why I didnt email to check ? I didnt think I would need to double check the definition of 1 and 2 bedroom.

This is a perfectly adequate base with all you need but but it just lacks atmosphere.

Very convenient for our circumstances at Christmas close to family Easy to park . A warm room on arrival. Adequate kitchen facilities and towels provided.

The bed linen was not comfortable .

Superb

Ease of booking, cleanliness, proximity to ships and takeaway if needed. A self contained flat, much nicer than a b and b, with the added bonus of no stairs to climb and time restrictions. The kites are a bonus as well when they are being fed.

When it's busy, and rooms have multiple occupancy with two or more vans parking can be an issue. It was full, and I never saw anyone walking in, but it was full.

Brilliant stay would book again

Excellent location as travelling for work, everything you needed for your stay, very clean tidy and lots of room. Good communication from hosts. Will be looking to book again when having to travel for work in this area.

Clean, warm and great internet access. The bed is comfy, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Have already booked again for another visit
