Close to city center but poor facilites

Room was lovely and large and it was very close to the city center

Tv signal was poor couldn't watch anything. Toilet upstairs didnt realise on booking it was shared Room was cold, couldn't adjust heating. No hair dryer as advertised Wardrobe door was falling apart Large stain in center of carpet Noisy road. Thought the window was open it was that loud and clear. Needs double glazing Noisy guests. Woke us up at 5am when they came back.and didnt shut up for the next 2 hours so we checked out early and went home

Terrible I wouldn’t recommend staying here to anyone it’s very poor value for money and the whole place is disgusting I

Nothing the property was really difficult to find and it was in a very rough area and the whole place was smelly and dirty

Everything. The room was cold and poorly lit. The tv didn’t work. It stunk of a kebab house . The shared bathroom was in awful condition so was the hallway and carpet. It was hard to find and in a really rough area

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Nothing, was absolutely disgraceful.

I arrived at the place for 17:25. The entrance was marked, and got my key. Then you go through a second entrance, and a foul stench (Musty, damp) overwhelms you, which continues into your room. Signs of bed bugs, a mouldy dusty fridge, unsafe wiring, and a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Lack of proper lighting as light as flickering, and just unclean. Could do with a deep clean, but even that wouldn't be enough. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Had to book alternative accomodation due to how bad it was.

Location was good room was cosy

Fridge was not working very well wasn't very cold. No knives or forks available even tho there was a microwave and fridge in room. Maybe idea in future to supply a plate and utensils

I would not stay again

The facilities worked, I had no problem with the toilet or shower

The first room on the first floor (room 1) had mould. Thankfully I bought my own sheets as the sheets provided were dirty. I’m severely asthmatic and have a bad skin condition, the mould did not help. My friends slept in room five and it was extremely cold and damp. He is also severely asthmatic.

A decent level of accommodation which satisfied my needs for a 1-night stay close to city centre

Handy location. Ease of access. Good value. Clean and tidy.

Bathroom door on upper floor was a bit tricky to negotiate opening outwards onto landing. Young couple in adjacent room were having a heated domestic argument throughout the night and early hours causing disturbance with loud conversation and door slamming!

A convenient place to stay.

The location was 5 minutes walk away from where I was meeting up with friends and that was fine. It was right by a convenience store and a takeaway restaurant or two so that wasn’t too bad either. The shared shower and bathroom was right by my room (number 5) which was handy as well.

The heater took forever to warm the room up, especially at the time of year, it didn’t sufficiently warm the room up at all.

Not for single people

The place was joined onto a cafe that cooked a good breakfast.

On arrival my room door was open & broken. The hall light didn't work, it smelt too and I couldn't stay in there. The owner did respond quick and got a maintenance man round. Though he couldn't fix the door..I stayed in another room, which was secure.. I didn't have a good experience, didn't feel safe, so stayed elsewhere the second night.

The beds were uncomfortable The whole place smelt funny The shared toilet constantly had urine on the floor The doors were that stiff u had to slam them to make sure it was securely closed so all you heard all night was everyone slamming doors There was no socket to charge anything unless you unplugged one of the appliances , even then everything in the room ran off 1 extension lead There's no heating in the rooms they are cold at night The tv didn't have freeview you had to log Into one of your own apps if u wanted to watch it Felt uneasy in there walking around to different floors to use facilities All around a bad experience stopped 2 nights didn't sleep a wink

The location was convenient, near the city centre and parks, next to a Chinese takeaway, and the bathroom was clean and well-equipped

I liked the bed that was it

I didn’t like Nothing about the property. The toilet was outside my hotel room and the bathroom/shower was on the top floor right next door to someone else’s room which made me feel quite uncomfortable getting in and out. I didn’t like the fact that there were no staff. And I wasn’t very happy I paid nearly 70 for a room where the toilet or shower isn’t in it. And the tv didn’t work me and my partner was looking forward to watching a film but the tv didn’t work it would turn on but saying no signal on every hdmi channel

The rooms were lovely and me and my parter and 4 teenage boys could all stay together for a good price

Wasn't keen on the bathroom sharing and the bathroom door is a nightmare. Thankfully it was only our family sharing at this time.

Very poorly maintained property stinking of fried food in the hallway.

There wasn't much to like

Dirty dingy entrance alley; the place stank of fried food as soon as you entered the shared hallway. One shared toilet between 5 rooms on the ground floor and one shared shower between 5 rooms on the 3rd floor - the bath mat was left on the floor and it was wet - so unhygienic, meaning I would not have a shower in it!. TV didn't work, main light didn't work, no soap in the dispenser in the toilet and there was a kitchen sink for a wash basin in the room. The host was not interested in coming down to fix any of the problems and did nothing to support me. To add insult to injury I had to endure staff smoking/ taking breaks right outside my window and they were noisy quite late on a week night. Very very poor show. You get what you pay for, but £55/ night was way too much for this dive! do not stay here!

Good location, good value for money. Check in and check out were both quick and easy.

Was only really in the room to sleep, so can't think of much. The keyring the door keys was on was a bit old and the tag kept coming off in my pocket, but other than that, I had a great stay.
