The location was great and in a very nice area, the views were excellent and plenty in the area to do. And the staff were all very pleasant and helpful Thank you.

Amazing hotel and lovely staff

We were both overwhelmed as soon as we walked through the doors we were there to celebrate our 35 th wedding anniversary and stayed in the wedding suit wow it was amazing we were impressed by all the hand painted pictures the four poster bed and a huge bath and rain shower WOW and thank you

Only the fact that we had to pay parking which I think should have been included in the price

Lovely architecture to the building. nice big room with walk in shower, comfy bed, lovely location at the top of steep hill and next to the castle.

I was only informed on arrival that there would be an event till late at night, which my room actually overlooked which is probably why the room was so cheap. So very noisey.

Good location, but sleep disturbed.

Location was good and decor was nice

There was a lot of banging through the night directly below the room which continued until maybe 6am. Therefore sleep was disturbed which meant scores were not as high as they could have been. Also missed breakfast due to tiredness.

Location for us was excellent. Across the road from the Castle with plenty of wonderful pubs and restaurants within walking distance.

Excellent stay shame about the early morning heating noise

The room was amazing, bathroom was fantastic and the bed was very comfortable. Location is perfect.

The heating came on at 6am and was so loud it woke both of us up. Was hoping for a sleep 🛌 n away from the kids but that didn’t happen. Also the entrance to check could be better signed. We walked around the building trying to find the door.

Great location in quirky comfortable hotel.

Great location close to both the castle and cathedral at the “top of town”. Very near to local shops, pubs and restaurants. Exceptional, friendly staff especially Sally on Reception and many other duties. Wouldn’t hesitate in staying again.

Nothing really to dislike, just a few things to be aware of: Continental Breakfast (English cooked is available at extra cost) No lift but only 2 floors Car parking - large Council Car Park approx £10 per 24hours (we weren’t driving so no issue to us but others in our party were) Location is at top of Steep Hill …. which is exactly as named so not good for those with walking difficulties….. recommend a taxi from station if arriving by train (c£6).

There was no water in the room but enough coffee and hot drinks for a weeks stay. And no thermostat in the room - it was very warm.

Reasonably pleasant bedroom - but that’s it!

It is in a good location

The hotel felt a ‘soulless’. I didn’t see anyone apart from the hotel receptionist (who was very pleasant) and two guests at breakfast. The Continental Breakfast was uninspiring. Only ‘tomato’ bread on offer - half a loaf to slice. About six slices of meat, chorizo and salami. I did venture into the bar on the evening I arrived but it was deserted. No staff in evidence. Signs indicate ‘ongoing refurbishment’. This could be a good hotel but the owners need to install some life into it.

Charming, very clean, lovely large clean bathroom. Excellent receptionists.

Due to its central location and I stayed in a Saturday night, I was woken frequently by people talking/shouting loudly outside. I would recommend bringing ear plugs. Also please note you have to pay for parking

Luxurious Christmas shopping weekend staying right next to the castle

Brilliant location for visiting Lincoln. Spacious twin suite room with comfortable beds. Lovely decor throughout with particularly lavish bar/lounge. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

A lift would be great for less able guests but staff did offer to take our luggage up for us.

Very enjoyable stay in Charlotte House and it was really close to the castle and cathedral. Loved Lincoln.

Nice spacious room and bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. The continental breakfast included in the price was excellent with a very good selection of bread, pastries, cereals, cooked meat and cheeses, fresh fruit and a choice ounce of juice and hot drinks.

Very minor issue the shower was in need of some repair to the controls but it still worked fine.

Location, right in the heart of the old part of Lincoln. Though it was a pay & display, large car park next to hotel, which was a bonus. Friendly Staff. Continental breakfast, which was fine, but you can upgrade to a full English.
