Nice room and great location, perfect price/quality ratio.

Great location in the heart of Lincoln, everything is at a walking distance. The room had all the expected amenities at a very decent quality. A nice big bed and a spacious bathroom as well as a desk and tv.

The room is on the ground floor with a big bay window. This makes it so that everyone walking past can just look inside if the blinds are open. The windows are also a bit dated, which makes it so that you do hear a lot of noise from out on the street.

Ideally located for access to all shops and pubs/restarants

Whoever rented the room above the Stonebrow which we were allocated want banning from booking anywhere again as they came in early hours of both Friday and Saturday and proceeded to scream and argue for hours on end. Woke us both up and totally ruined what would of otherwise been a good weekend 😡

Poor bed spoils otherwise good room

Room was clean, good temperature (did not need to adjust), good shower. Good location and price. But the very poor mattress is the reason for downgraded ratings.

The mattress in our room was worn out - soft and saggy, no proper support. Uncomfortable. Otherwise, no complaints.

Very disappointing experience – I would not recommend this hotel.

Basic property but wear ear plugs if you want any sleep.

Basic property which was clean enough.

When we arrived we received a message advising us that we had been given the wrong code for the front door. We messgaed back asking for the correct code but received no response. We rang and spoke to a gentleman who was far from helpful and was basically arguing with us about the fact that we couldn't gain access to the property. We eventually got in using the correct code and when we left, I messaged again asking for the correct code so that we could get into the property when we returned - no reply. Had to call again and go through the same nonsense to get in. The property is fairly central but there is a large steep hill to negotiate if you want to get to the centre of Lincoln. This is an older property and the walls are very thin and the floorboards creak like mad. There was a couple in the room above us and we could hear everything they were doing - talking, walking around, going to the toilet - and other things. They were awake for most of the night so we didn't get much sleep. All in all, I would avoid staying here and we won't be returning.

Nice place!

Stayed in the White room, was very clean. Nice room and had enough room for 2. I actually liked that there was no staff so it felt like an air BnB and we could come and go. The location is perfect, very close to bars and clubs and a 5 minute walk from the city centre. The beds were also comfy and the TV had apps so you can watch Netflix and YouTube! Also comes with toiletries and a fan.

Not the accommodations fault but there was a guy staying there that was harassing us but thankfully it was our last day and we could just leave. The floors are also very creaky, we were on the first floor and we could hear the upstairs neighbours walking around- thankfully it wasn't early in the morning or late at night. Our room was also next to a pizza restaurant which had outdoor seating so you could hear the people outside. We didn't mind it but could see how others might! The toilet was also very wobbly and felt like it might come out of the wall if you sat down too hard 😆.

Adequate but very expensive for what it is.

Location is quite convenient being near the town centre. The room was clean and tidy although some of the drawers were broken and unusable. Wi-fi worked well. Ensuite bathroom was clean. Sufficient tea/coffee and biscuits for two nights for one person but not replenished. No air conditioning but there was a fan which was needed for hot day/night.

Room was on the main road which is noisy. Confusion over key code entry which was changed just before I arrived so could not gain access. Told I was sent an e-mail which was sent only 2 hours before I arrived, whilst driving, so you need to check your e-mail for that. If you write it down from the e-mail two days before it may well be wrong by the time you arrive. There is a night club opposite as well and quite a lot of disturbance late at night. Traffic noise is definitely an issue even at weekends. No parking and I used Orchard Street car park which is about 5 minute walk. If you are concerned about vehicle security that might be an issue. It is £9.80 per 24 hours. I was there two days and no servicing between days and sufficient tea/coffee left for two days £30 cleaning fee. Cost of £195.40 per night was way over what it was worth and is completely unstaffed. Worth shopping around.

Lovely unique room, an excellent spot, and an adorable little garden, with an added bonus of the pigeon nest and baby pigeons.

The mattress was a little bumpy for me... but overall excellent.

I liked it that it was a very central location so everywhere was close by, all in walking distance from railway station

I booked the garden room on ground floor which gave me direct access into a quiet walled garden. It was enjoyable to sit outside when sunny

Onsite no staff, so a bit impersonal but contact via email was excellent. Saw nobody in or out of the building or garden at any time so was left wondering if I was the only person there, left me feeling a bit uncomfortable. Some refurbishment was in need of improvements which might put some people off but not me.

Great accommodation choice in a beautiful medieval city.

The room was beautifully decorated, roomy with access to a private area. In walking distance of all local sights such as the cathedral, castle and shopping areas. The staff were exceptionally helpful.

Just one negative - the heated towel rail did not switch on, so the bathroom was quite chilly.

What a joke

Absolute nothing, the pictures didn't resemble the room. Should have gone to a Premier Inn. To pay this amount of money was a joke. Then to top it off took £500 as a deposit for damages. Are you having a laugh. Good job I had the money to cover the cost. And weeks later I'm still waiting for my money back. Do not go here. I've learnt my lesson. So hopefully you can read this and stay well away

I liked the location and the design of the room

The light in the bathroom constantly turned off while in the shower. Also a miniature fridge would have been fantastic to store water and such since it’s so hot in the summer.

We had a room at the front where there was a very noisy road with cars and people. I had difficulty using the payment link and when I contacted customer services for help the operator was very rude, aggressive and unhelpful.

Divan base very creaky and could feel springs poking in hips so bed could do with replacing. On ground floor so couldn’t open window at night due to shared access to garden. Needs mirror in bedroom. Every time people above went to the bathroom in the night we could hear everything and sounds like water was rushing into the room when loo flushed. Hard floor means the sound travels downstairs.

Superb

Great room, opened onto the garden. Shower was great,large and plenty of hot water. Bed was comfortable, but noising when moving in bed.The location was excellent. Really good restaurants either side and across the road. Walking distance to the castle and cathedral.

Noise is a problem if you have a noisy neighbour upstairs as we did, stamping around all night. Hanging space and access to an iron would have been nice.
